00:30And brought them into the living rooms of millions of people.

00:32My grandmother loved Jack on Will & Grace.

00:35It's why we need more trans characters in books, television, and movies.

00:39All kinds of characters.

00:41And can we play them?

00:42It's not that cis people can't play trans roles.

00:46But there are a lot of trans actors.

00:47Good ones.

00:48And we can bring something unique to the roles.

00:50Like ourselves, but who's telling the story also matters.

00:55Word.

00:55We need trans writers, producers, directors, editors.

00:59We need the chance to tell our stories.

01:02And girl, we have stories to tell.
