00:02MAC Cosmetics created the first pizza cutter style eyeliner a few months ago and yesterday
00:10Revlon launched their very own pizza cutter style liner.
00:13It's called the Exactify Wheel Tip and I got to try it out first.
00:17I'm going to try out the eyeliners today on either eye.
00:21I have the MAC ones right here and I have a couple of the brand new Revlon ones right
00:27here.
00:27I'm going to go ahead and open up the Revlon one first.
00:31There's a mermaid blue kind of teal shade.
00:33There is a classic black, a kind of warm burgundy brown, and then there's a sparkling black.
00:41Ooh.
00:42A little pizza wheel, so cute.
00:47This creates very nice thin lines.
00:51I'm a fan.
00:55Time for the MAC.
00:56I have the black and this gorgeous navy.
01:00It has a little stopper on the inside of the pot so that it stops you from taking up too
01:07much product.
01:09The wheel feels exactly how you would imagine rolling a little piece of plastic on your hand.
01:15I'm very curious to see how this is going to work on an eyelid.
01:20I'm going to do a little cat eye, my usual cat eye, and hopefully that works.
01:24I'm not wearing any primer because I want to see how long these last.
01:30I think I prefer to do it in little small rolling motions just so that I don't mess up.
01:36It's very pigmented.
01:38It definitely takes some getting used to if you are a big liquid liner fan, but I think I got
01:44pretty much the same effect if I had used a felt tip or a brush tip.
01:48All right, a little more on the graphic side, but I'm quite happy with the way the wing came out,
01:54and the actual liner on is super opaque.
01:59It has a little bit of that satin finish, which I personally like.
02:04I'm going to go in with the MAC now.
02:06It's actually very easy to get on the inner corner of your eyes.
02:10The MAC one is already drying down super duper matte.
02:14It does need a little bit of building up, but it is pretty opaque.
02:19This is the liner done.
02:21I have to say that I'm surprised it came out this well, to be honest.
02:26I thought it was going to be really difficult to use this roller wheel situation, but it was actually decently
02:31easy.
02:32It took me a little bit longer than it would my regular eyeliner, but the main difference, I think, in
02:36terms of application, was just that the Revlon side is a little bit glossier of a finish.
02:41It's still, I mean, I've had this on for a few minutes now, and it's still maintaining this glossiness, and
02:45the MAC side is 100% matte.
02:47The Revlon side also had a little bit more of a liquidy consistency, whereas the MAC was just a little,
02:54just a hair thicker.
02:55The Revlon side over here costs $11.99, and the MAC is $21, so there's a good, like, $10 difference
03:06there.
03:07I am going to try out both of these.
03:10For the rest of the day, I'm going to put them to the test, and then I will check back
03:13in with you in a few hours to see how the liner's holding up.

03:59Kind of looks more defined as you go towards the edge.
04:03Interesting. I actually have to agree with Colin here. The Revlon side of my face is a little bit more

04:13whereas the MAC side is starting to wear a little bit in the corner.
04:17All in all, I think the eyeliners did hold up really well. As I said, I have very oily eyelids.
04:22I did not wear a primer, and I think they look really good.
04:26Um, I did like kind of rub my eye a little bit over here, so I kind of smudged my
04:30wings.
04:31Do I think that they're going to replace my regular liquid liners?
04:36I gotta say no.
04:37I think that I would definitely keep these just because they're great for experimenting,
04:42doing very graphic shapes, creating very crisp lines,
04:46but I think that in terms of doing my eyeliner quickly and easily,
04:50I'm going to stick with, you know, your typical felt tips, paintbrush tips.
04:56But I will say it was really fun, and I definitely think that it's worth experimenting with,
05:02especially if you love makeup like I do.
