00:02Hi guys, I'm Allison McNamara. Today we're gonna pin and win the four-strand braids. Braids are
00:09probably one of the most pinned things on Pinterest, especially that four-strand braids,
00:13but with four different strands it is so hard to do. So I actually found some tips and tricks to
00:18make it a whole lot easier. All you need are a brush, colorful hair rubber bands, one clear
00:24rubber band, and scissors. So it's a lot easier to follow along if I demo this on someone else,
00:29so please welcome my assistant, Blondie. Hi, Blondie. The first step is to grab your clear tie
00:37and just make a ponytail at the nape of your neck. Next we're gonna divide the hair into four
00:42different sections and use different colored hair ties. The most important thing about this is this
00:48is always position one, this is always position two, this is always position three, and this is
00:53position four. It's kind of like braiding collar braid, okay? It's always one, under two, over three,
01:01under four. One, under two, over three, under four. Finish it off with a little pink band.
01:18And then once you're happy with the way the braid looks, grab your scissors, and then you cut off
01:23the little hair ties. And be careful, like, I gave myself a scare that I cut off. The whole strand
01:28would be bad.
