26 ದಿನಗಳ ಉಪವಾಸ ಸತ್ಯಾಗ್ರಹದ ಬಳಿಕ ಸೋನಂ ವಾಂಗ್ಚುಕ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿತನ ಮತ್ತು NEET ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ವಿವಾದದ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಸಂಸದರು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ NEET ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಸೋರಿಕೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾದ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಂತಿಯುತವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಯುವಕರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.

Social activist Sonam Wangchuk has ended his 26-day fast after receiving assurances from the Government of India and Members of Parliament across political parties. The government has agreed that accountability in the examination system will be discussed in Parliament. It also assured adequate compensation for families affected by the recent NEET paper leak tragedy and confirmed that no cases will be filed against students and youth who participated in peaceful protests.
