480 Pakistan-Based Social Media Accounts Blocked Over Fake News on Student Protests

ನೀಟ್ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಸೋರಿಕೆ ವಿವಾದದ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿರುವ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ, ನಕಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹರಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಮೂಲದ ಸುಮಾರು 480 ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಖಾತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ದೆಹಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಗುರುವಾರ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.

Delhi Police has announced that around 480 Pakistan-based social media accounts have been identified and blocked for allegedly spreading fake and misleading information related to the ongoing student protests over the NEET question paper leak controversy.
According to the police, the action was taken to curb misinformation and prevent the spread of false narratives on social media during the protests.
