00:06so I'm going to Palm Springs and I'm taking my friend Justine with me.
00:13It's going to be our perfect vacation. I can't wait.
00:16Being in Palm Springs always just feels kind of magical because of the nature here
00:20and how there's beautiful hills all around and hundreds of palm trees everywhere.
00:24I love that this hotel is kind of like 60s, 70s themed so I feel like you've been immersed into
00:31a whole new time era.
00:34What are we going to do today because I've never been here.
00:35Yeah, well I have a really exciting day planned.
00:38First, we're going to go to the spa which I'm super stoked about.
00:41I haven't been to the spa in forever and God knows I need it.
00:45Two, we're going to go biking. Hopefully that's going to be fun.
00:47And then we're going to get something to eat and then we're going to go shopping.

00:57I feel like the spa from Ace Hotel is the perfect escape from the bustle of LA.
01:02Especially me living downtown, I feel like I'm always in the middle of something happening
01:07and just being able to get away for a little bit to such a quiet, beautiful place.
01:12So can you tell us about the treatment? What to expect?
01:15Yeah, so we're going to do a salt of the earth body scrub.
01:19It's a vanilla lavender scrub. So it's going to get your skin all nice and smooth and exfoliated.
01:32Just trying to relax and think of positive thoughts and de-stress.
01:41It's just crazy how close we are to LA. It's like two hours to get here.
01:46And now we're in like a whole other world.

02:37My favorite part of today was definitely biking.
02:40I just felt so much peace and just going around the hotel and having like the wind blow through my

02:46Even though I was wearing a tight skirt, I think overall I did a pretty awesome job.

04:40You always look for the condition and you always look for specific brands that you like.
04:46I mean, obviously some stuff is like worth more.

05:24Yes!
05:24It's actually, this is the business I grew up in.
05:26My mom had a consignment store when I was a little girl.
05:29And I went to the fashion institute and knew that's what I wanted to do.
05:34Do you like the jacket I picked out?
05:35Very much so.
05:36And I love it.
05:37It's kind of a vintage style and it's got kind of a soft, cool effect.
05:41And then you've got it paired back to, you know, a totally different fabric and with those boots.
05:45And I actually love it all together.
