00:05Can you tell me more about the first time you met Carla Gaffeld?
00:09Yes, it was for shooting for his book, The Jackets.
00:15And it was all really quick, there was loads of people when I arrived.
00:19So like the first time I was just like looking at him doing his work
00:23and it was so cool to see him like behind the camera and like working with everyone.
00:28He's so nice and so like genuine.
00:31And yeah, I wasn't surprised by how genuine and how cool he was because you could tell that.
00:37But it was nice to be able to like talk to him like, you know, and like have same opinions
00:47about things.
00:48He's really, yeah, really nice.
00:49It was good because he knows what he likes and he's like, it can either be two seconds, like two
00:54pictures done
00:55or, you know, take a few more minutes than two pictures.
00:58But it was a really good experience and one that I'll remember forever, obviously.
01:03I think it was like a derelict apartment.
01:06It was like an old, beautiful like French apartment, tall ceilings.
01:10But like nothing worked.
01:12So it was, it was, yeah, it was like a derelict old apartment.
01:17But they made it all beautiful.
01:18Like they did up the rooms and obviously it looks, it looks cool.
01:22In the campaign, you wear a very feminine outfit.
01:24Yeah.
01:25You are in a very classy atmosphere.
01:26We're not used to see you like this.
01:28Did you enjoy it?
01:29Yeah, I like that.
01:30Yeah.
01:30That's the kind of, that's what I like about modelling.
01:33It's like you're acting.
01:34Yeah.
01:34So I felt like a lady with the red lips and like the two-piece outfits.
01:40It was so cool.
01:41And I love the bag.
01:42The bag is wicked.
01:44And I don't usually wear bags.
01:45Is that really?
01:46Yeah.
01:46Yeah.
01:47My favourite is this one I chose.
01:51This is, well, I got to choose out of any of them.
01:54And I went for this one because of the stingray and the black leather and the chain.
02:01I think this will age really well.
02:03Yes.
02:04It will look, like the older it gets personally, I think, the nicer it looks.
02:10And to me, it will be a reminder of my experience of the shoot and the campaign.
02:18And yeah, I just love this one.
02:20But it looks a bit boyish.
02:21Yeah.
02:22You like to play with boyish clothes with your style?
02:24Yes, all the time.
02:26Yeah.
02:26I like to be comfortable.
02:27And I think men dress more comfortably than ladies.
02:30Really?
02:31Well, generally, yeah.
02:33They can just put a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt.
02:36And I like doing that comfort first.
02:40Chanel means elegance, casual elegance.
02:45Yeah, it's sexy.
02:48It's cool.
02:49Well, I think it's cool.
02:51So it's your first Chanel bag and maybe the one that will follow you during your life?
02:56Exactly.
02:57I like that.
02:57I think it's important to, like, the people that throw things away every year, I can't
03:03do that.
03:04I like to hold on to things.
03:06I know it's not very healthy to do that, people say, but I don't know.
03:10Every piece has a memory.
03:11This will be a memory from working with Chanel and doing that campaign.
03:15Yeah.
03:15So it's all about the memories, I think.
03:19How does it feel to be a new Chanel icon?
03:22It's so weird when you say that.
03:25Why?
03:25It's so unexpected as well.
03:27Like, if I had to think, I would have never thought that I'd be doing it.
03:31Why?
03:32I don't know.
03:32I just, well, I don't want to compare me to the others, but it's like, from the other
03:40people that did the handbags, they're all different.
03:42Vanessa Paradis, Lily Allen, and Blake Lively.
03:45Exactly.
03:46And now me.
03:46So I think it's good.
03:47They've got, like, a variety of people and personalities, I guess.
03:52So.
