Fields medal awarded to four young mathematicians, including two from China

Two Chinese nationals, an American and a Canadian receive the Fields Medal in Philadelphia, one of the most prestigious international honours in mathematics. Awarded every four years in a different city, this honour is regarded as the equivalent of a "Nobel Prize in mathematics."
