00:01Three men were fined 700 ringgit each by the Johor Bahru Magistrates Court on Thursday
00:07after pleading guilty to taking part in a brawl.
00:11The incident happened when the accused were watching the FIFA World Cup final
00:16at a restaurant in Tamandaya on Monday.
00:19They are identified as Abdullah Tennis Munisamy, Kivan J. Arkesh Rajendran and Muhammad Nafiz.
00:26The court also set September 1 for the sentencing of another two juveniles aged 15 and 17
00:34who were also involved in the brawl, pending the submission of social reports.
00:38All five pleaded guilty to their charge of acting together in a fight at the restaurant
00:44at about 5.40 a.m., which disrupted public order.
00:48They were unrepresented in court.
00:50Police had said they detained 12 men aged between 15 and 38
00:55to help with their investigation into a fight.
