00:22and began to struggle. Two other adults jumped in to help, but they also got into trouble in
00:27rough current. Then two more people went into the river in another rescue attempt. None of the five
00:33survived, not a single one of them. Authorities were alerted after a distraught child ran to a nearby
00:38road and told a passing motorist that his family was in the river. The two women were pulled from
00:42the water Sunday night while the bodies of three men were recovered the following day. Investigators
00:47say the river had been flowing at more than twice its normal rate.
