00:04We're down here at Halloon Roundabout at St Column today to see some victims of crime
00:10in relation to a livestock theft that's happened over the weekend.
00:13And we're appealing to the public to come forward with any information that they might have.
00:17The theft occurred on Saturday 18th July 2026 between 3 o'clock in the afternoon and 10 to 10 in
00:23the evening.
00:24Did you see anything? Did you see anyone move any livestock?
00:27Did you see any cattle trailers, any cattle lorries in the area acting suspiciously?
00:32So if you have any information, any dash cam that you might have or anything that might lead to getting
00:38these sheep back to the farmer,
00:39please come forward with any information on 101 or by contacting Crime Stoppers.
00:47So the impact of this crime is absolutely huge.
00:50Unfortunately, they are a small farm and the financial cost of this theft is absolutely massive.
00:57It's not just the financial implication, it's also the mental well-being as well.
01:02This is an absolute strain to them and it's obviously putting a lot of stress on them emotionally as well.
01:08So they are getting support from the police, but we're just appealing for the public to come forward really
01:13and give any information that might help catch the people that are taking these sheep from the field.
