00:22lot in the comments and chats a lot of you are saying that ragnarok new worlds feels a bit
00:28overwhelming like there's just too much to do right i get it when you first log in it throws a
00:35lot at
00:35you but honestly it's not as complicated as it looks in fact i think a lot of us are stressing
00:42over things we don't actually need to do so let's break it down and chill out about it first off
00:49let's give credit where it's due the game does a great job welcoming you in the intro is beautiful
00:55and it really sets the vibe this game is about having fun with other people and that background
01:01music oh man it really hits different it brings back those beautiful old days doesn't it it totally
01:07does but what really matters here is that the game has pretty much everything to keep both new and
01:12old players happy whether you're a veteran feeling nostalgic or a total beginner just jumping in
01:18there's something here for everyone and so everyone's journey begins right here whether
01:24you're here for the grind the community the fashion or just to chill and explore this is your starting
01:30point no pressure no rush just you your character and a whole world waiting now for the old school
01:38fans you'll notice it feels a lot like the original ragnarok the stat distribution the attributes like
01:45attack speed it's all there bringing back that classic vibe
01:54and about the auto potion system just like most mobile games it's a total lifesaver
01:59but here's how it works you've got your basic medicine that one heals you slowly over time
02:06then you have your instant potions for when things get really scary and you need health right now
02:11you can buy those potions up to level 40 and honestly the level 41s are already good enough
02:17for your daily activities and regular grinding so don't worry about running out but the really good
02:23stuff the higher tier potions you'll have to craft those later and here's my advice save those for the
02:30big boss fights tough events or hard mode dungeons don't waste them on random dailies or weak mobs
02:37trust me you'll thank yourself later when you actually need them but here is the number one
02:44thing i want you to remember focus on the main quest seriously everything else it's just side content
02:51it's optional the game doesn't force you to do it
03:03for instance those map quests are achievements you see they give you cool stuff sure but they barely
03:10affect your level or your power look i know the game has a ton of features it can look like
03:15a huge
03:16list of chores but here's the truth most of those features are just for fun they're for the experience
03:23and speaking of achievements there's a ton there too but again unless you really really want that cool
03:29looking mount you don't have to stress about finishing them all the rewards are small so just
03:35do them if you find them fun now i know some of you saw the build master feature early on
03:41and thought
03:41oh great another chore but guess what it's permanent you can do it whenever you want just focus on your
03:48main quest and your daily tasks if you ever get stuck and don't know how to get stronger then you
03:54check
03:54that feature out because it actually helps with your stats but until then ignore it and what about the
04:02pets oh boy a lot of you are worried about pets here's the deal pets are cute but they aren't
04:09game breakers
04:10they give you a tiny bit of help in battle but they die pretty fast they aren't going to carry
04:16you to
04:16victory in the summoning interface there are two types the first one only goes up to sr pets think of
04:26that as the common summon at the start the game hooks you up with quite a few summoning coupons that
04:35way
04:35you can grab a couple of pets to choose from early on it's a nice little boost to get you
04:41started
04:42oh and the summoning animation you don't have to sit through it every single time you can skip it
04:48manually or just turn on auto skip it's all about whatever you prefer
04:59then there's the piety summon which actually has a chance to give you an ssr pet and guess what
05:05you don't have to worry about this at all why because later on as you deal with some extra quests
05:11you'll actually get coupons for piety summoning as rewards so by then you can just try your luck and see
05:18what you get no pressure no spending required of course at the beginning it's required to follow the
05:26guide this way you get familiar with the pet interface and hey it's going to be your companion
05:32anyway so it's good to know how it works now you might see a dungeon for pets on the event
05:43board and
05:44panic thinking great another daily task but hold on relax that instance also known as brave trials
05:52isn't really for you to get stronger it's actually for your pet it gives experience to your pet and some
05:58coupons and here's the best part it's not even a daily task it doesn't reset every day and there's
06:05no rush to finish all the floors seriously take your time if you enjoy it or you really want to
06:12improve
06:12your pet then sure go ahead and deal with it to grab some materials but other than that it's not
06:19that
06:19important you won't fall behind if you ignore it oh and one more thing don't forget about the freebies
06:26besides the main quest and actual dailies make sure to check out the online rewards they sign in
06:32and daily gift packs they're all sitting right there on the main screen honestly it's just a few
06:38clicks and you get free stuff no effort all reward gotta love that right now aside from summoning
06:47there's another way to get pets you can actually head to certain field areas and catch them
06:52just like pokemon you throw some milk food to lower its resistance then toss an orb like a pokeball
06:59to capture it pretty fun right but if you aren't into taming pets honestly just skip it it's only
07:06enjoyable if you're into catching them all no pressure but wait here's the juicy part this feature
07:12actually lets you catch an ssr pet and no i'm pretty sure it's not some limited time event it looks
07:19more
07:20like a bonus daily task that's just hanging around up to you if you want to do it though right
07:25now you
07:26can catch mia an ssr support type pet and here's the kicker you can catch her once a day so
07:33if you're
07:34consistent you're basically powering her up for free free well okay not totally free you need orbs to
07:42catch her and milk to tame her gotta lower that resistance first but you can grab those from the
07:48guild shop or some other shops easy enough right all right so once you see that heart emoji pop up
07:54on top of the pet that's your cue go ahead and catch it just remember the one with the heart

08:01with lowered capture resistance so that's the one you want to go for and me what am i even doing

08:07now to be honest i'm not really sure either kind of funny isn't it but you know what that's totally
08:14normal when you're tackling a brand new feature for the first time we've all been there
