00:10a fair bit of grain and hay out. All the cattle have gone we've already got rid of a number

00:21a bit of wool off them first before we do we will. We're lacking in subsoil moisture. The top
00:25six inches might have a bit of moisture but below that it's just dry and hard. Early autumn break
00:31which was great and we sowed a lot of pasture I suppose and crop but since then March I suppose
00:37early March we've had bugger all rain since. 200 millimetres for the year and as you get closer
00:42to the coast we're 10 kilometres from the coast but as you get closer to the coast there's certainly a
00:47lot less over there. Whilst you know it is short and green once you get past the yeah two centimetres
00:53whatever there is absolutely nothing underneath. There is no subsoil moisture whatsoever. Probably
00:57the fourth time I've had the wagon on. Cattle aren't really looking for it. We're getting some
01:01growth up until the frost we've had this last 10 days. Hopefully we'll get decent rain between
01:05now and October and November to keep us going to enable to get a spring and cut hay. I'm sick
01:11of buying hay.
