00:07We're starting things off with what happened today. A magnitude 3.2 earthquake occurred at 11.14am
00:14at a depth of 49 kilometres. It occurred approximately east-northeast of San Fernando
00:20and east-southeast of Port of Spain. That makes it three earthquakes in a span of two days.
00:26Now, that can seem unusual, but it does not necessarily mean that a larger earthquake is about to occur.
00:34You see, Trinidad and Tobago lies near the boundary between the Caribbean plate and the South American plate.
00:40These tectonic plates are constantly moving past each other, causing stress to build up and occasionally be released as earthquakes.
00:48Now, moving on to conditions tonight. You can expect mostly fair but hazy conditions that will be interrupted by isolated
00:55showers
00:56with minimum temperatures at 25 degrees in both islands.
00:59And tomorrow conditions will start off fair, then give way to some partly cloudy skies with a few light to
01:05moderate showers
01:06with a chance of heavy showers favoring southern regions of Trinidad.
01:11Dusk concentration will remain on moderate levels.
01:14Daytime temperatures will reach up to 32 degrees in Trinidad and 31 in Tobago.

01:25because according to the Met Office, Thursday and Friday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with periods of rain.
