00:20of disappointment this year fresh off his all-star appearance last Tuesday in Philadelphia his 20th start overall this season

00:34pitch now trails by four innings in that category but went into the all-star break and tied for most
00:40innings and Michael Wacca is Mr. Consistent so Michael Wacca faces a thorn in every pitcher's side to start tonight's
00:47game and Luis arrives on the ground of Michael Massey and it's one up one down for Wacca tonight that

01:57now Wacca with just eight pitches takes care of the Giants in the second inning down they go quickly and

02:10playing Thomas first up Thomas has hit sharply on two hops off the glove of the Thomas the shortstop it
02:17rolls into short center and Thomas after a wide turn at first hits the brakes then he takes outside so
02:25that pushes Thomas down to second and the Royals have been presented with a scoring opportunity here in the second
02:33inning a single and a walk and he gets plunked that was a slider that didn't slide yeah shake it

02:40shimmy it away base is loaded nobody else and so McDonnell after that very efficient first inning is really in
02:49the soup here in the second inning infield single a walk and a hit batter brings up Michael Massey out
02:57to left center not really that deep Thomas pretty good speed at third Gilbert catches and Thomas is coming home
03:03the throw all the way home tag he is out great throw by Drew Gilbert and it turns into a

03:10wow Dave this was a perfect throw from Drew Gilbert whose momentum is kind of carrying him into left field
03:16and it's just a full unload keeps it low that's a big break and a huge double play swings at
03:22the 1-1 bounces it to third Schmidt was playing in he'll glove it on the edge of the grass
03:26and a throw on to first in plenty of time the inning is over bases loaded nobody out and Trevor

03:36McDonnell with some help from Drew Gilbert and Daniel Susak did an awesome job last inning this is loaded nobody
03:43out and didn't give up a run on the ground to Eldridge scoops it up nicely Eldridge scoops it up
03:49there jogs over the bag to get the out on Collins one away and Jensen skies one out into left
03:56more towards left center Ramos angling back now stops reach up and make the catch so the Royals get a
04:04two out walk they strand a runner
04:06and at the end of three no score so two down and batter is Ramos Ramos out to right center
04:12field hit that pretty well but and now it is gone wow that one fooled me Elliot Ramos it just

04:25I mean I knew he hit it well but that one flies out of here it's 1-0 Giants Ramos
04:31is so strong he can inside out these balls catch it it looks like he just catches it a little
04:37bit deep and this ball was absolutely blasted 108 miles an hour on a line and it ricocheted off the

04:48Pasquantino gets hit a slider hit him off his foot tried to jump out of the way that hit him
04:53pretty solidly the second batter that McDonald has plunked tonight
04:58here's Salvador Perez who was hit by a pitch his first time up Salvi swings and hits it deep to
05:03center field back goes Gilbert at the wall gone
05:09number 316 for Salvador Perez well you could see Salvi had a plan right slider in his back
05:17the at bat previous gets a first pitch fastball took a nice swing just missed it got himself another fastball
05:23away and now two home runs to center field on the homestand

05:35Lee has it and gets it back to the infield quickly and Massey jogs into second base with a one

05:53McDonald is on it he goes with a long underhand toss to first and that's in time two down and
05:59Massey goes to third and now Collins who grounded out to first in the third inning line to right field
06:05a base hit it's another RBI with two outs for Isaac Collins and it's now three
06:12three to one very nice piece of hit by Isaac Collins McDonald did not go with the slider and said
06:17what with the changeup well right as we were getting ready Hunter to start this inning Trevor McDonald called Anthony
06:23Reyes out or somebody did so Tony Vitello is out there with the Giants trainer now the Giants I assume

06:30just because that's who was warming up last inning in this case he's throwing some pitches down there in the
06:36pen he can he could just come to the game bound and he'll get all the time he needs so
06:40we'll hope to get a little more info on Trevor McDonald and what's going on in the meantime pitching changed
06:46and he will face Nick Lofton who will bat for the first time he came on to play shortstop for
06:50Bobby Wood Junior in the top of this inning after coming into the next circle for Bobby and that's the
06:56inning so an infield hit for Thomas that's all the Royals get in that frame we go to the
07:00for the sixth three one Royals Michael Walker is only allowed two hits one of them a solo home run
07:06he's in the midst of his third trip through the Giants lineup Eldridge swings and misses and a fastball away
07:12and strikes out and that's four for Walker Schmidt hits a very high fly ball to shallow left Lofton goes
07:20way out from short but Collins comes in and makes the graph Raphael Devers walked in the first inning
