00:01Giants and the Brew crew it's game 131 you look at this team for San Francisco 66 and 66 and
00:08they've basically been a 500 team all season long some ebbs and flows but they can pitch the ball extremely
00:13well. Yeah I mean especially a couple of the guys at the top of the rotation right Logan Webb is
00:17one of the best starters in all of baseball for Tobias Myers is starting pitcher stats putting together a fantastic
00:22rookie season. Yeah I mean he's in the conversation at this point for rookie of the year just what he's
00:28been able to do since June 1.
00:3076 and two-thirds innings pitch in that time span in a two ARA that's second of baseball. Lamont Wade
00:35Jr. leading off for the Giants tonight first pitch from Myers a swing and a high fly ball out to
00:42straightaway left. Churio circling under it and he'll make the catch one pitch one out. Here's Tyler Fitzgerald speaking of
00:49coming out of the gate hot 14 home runs real elite company in terms of what he has done as
00:56a rookie in Giants franchise history. Popped up.
01:00Right near the pitcher's mound who wants it Willie Adamas on that mound for out number two. And there's two
01:06down now for Michael Conforto the former New York Met and that is lined right into the glove of Bryce
01:11Terang a little. And it's a one two three top of the first for Tobias Myers. They get the right
01:17hander Logan Webb who has been on a tear at all start for the first time this year. And Terang
01:22a guy they want to keep off the bases. Thirty seven steals this year. Third most in baseball.
01:28A liner to short pick clean by Fitzgerald. And he throws out Terang. Nice play for out number one. Played
01:35it cleanly. And now here's Jackson Churio to short Fitzgerald. High throw safe is Churio. And Churio is aboard with
01:43one away now for William Contreras. Now the runner goes. It's up and in because Sally's throw is late. Churio
01:50holds the bag. It's a steal. It's the 18th stolen base given up by Logan Webb has only caught five.
01:56Well we've seen these long A.B.s from William Contreras and more often than not they go his way.
02:02Remember down in Houston 13 pitch at bat with Justin Verlander ended up hitting a big three run homer. Really
02:08running that pitch count up with Logan Webb to pitch number 14 about to be thrown by Logan Webb. Down
02:14the right field line. Lamont Wade in foul territory. Couldn't get there. We'll do it again. Fifteenth pitch. Walked him.
02:23That is probably the best at bat we've ever seen.
02:26We have seen all year long. What a half bat. A standing ovation here at American Family Field in appreciation
02:32of a fifteen pitch battle. Twenty five pitches now in the inning for Webb. One out. And Jake Bowers the
02:39batter. And now to right field. Knocked down by Wade. He goes to second to get the middle runner. Wade's
02:47effort saves a run. Runners around the corners. With two outs now for Willie Adamas.
02:52On the ground is short. Fitzgerald to go to second for the force out there. Ends the inning. Logan Webb
03:00gets through it. Ramos on his way to second with a leadoff double. And man has he put together a
03:06nice season for the Giants. Here's Matt Chapman. Got him. For a fastball by him on the inner part of
03:11the plate. First strikeout for Myers. And there's one away for Mike Yastrzemski. Fly ball shallow center.
03:18This is a can of corn for Blake Perkins. Moves in and underneath of it makes the catch. No advance
03:24from the runner. And there's two down for Estrada. To a pitch. Popped him up. This one into shallow left
03:30center. Racing out is Adamas. Backpedaling. He's there. And he makes the catch. And the inning is over. So Myers
03:37does a phenomenal job working around the leadoff double.
03:40You can tell that Logan Webb in inning number two is recalibrated. Yeah. Fishing. Attacking the zone. Not where the
03:48Brewers want to see Logan Webb. After a 33 pitch first. Webb delivers. And it's strike three called. There is
03:55that much needed 1-2-3 inning. So the leadoff man is aboard again. And that brings up the number
04:01nine batter. Catcher Kurt Casali. McCray runs. It was kind of a hit and run. Swing and miss. The ball
04:06goes to the backstop. So Grant McCray is going to get himself a
04:10steal. And strike three. Slider on the outside corner. Second K for Myers. Let's see. Oh. Now that's a walk.
04:20Yep. Can't do that. That's about the easiest block call that an umpiring crew will ever have to make. Wade
04:26swings. Grounds it to second. Well Terang's playing back. So this will get a run home. Terang loves it. And
04:32he'll throw out Wade at first. That's out number two. But McCray scores. 1-0 Giants. The Brewers have their
04:38first hit. A one-out single.
04:40Now Jackson Churio. Churio. Deep left center. Oh what a bomb from Jackson Churio at the scoreboard. Number 16 for
04:50Churio. And he left nothing in the tank. A majestic home run from the rookie Jackson Churio. And he put
04:57some lights out in the brand new scoreboard as he hit a bomb off of the scoreboard and left center
05:04field. Look at that square that Jackson Churio just put out here at American Family Field.
05:09A majestic shot from the kid to put the Brewers up two to one. Two out. They're looking for a
05:15shutdown inning. After his offense just got him the lead. Here comes Matt Chapman. That one hit out towards right
05:20center field and well hit. Perkins back toward the wall. It is gone. Matt Chapman to right center field ties
05:29the game. With that beautiful swing. His 21st home run of the year.
05:34And that is classic Chapman. And that is classic Chapman. Just forearms. That one right out of right center field.
05:41Tyro Estrada leading off here in the fifth inning. Estrada. Left center. Perkins. Got a good jump on it. Perkins
05:49back. He got another one. Come on.
05:53Nobody does it better than the Milwaukee Brewers and Robin Homers. And no one does it better than that guy
06:00right there. And that might have been the best one of the season for Blake Perkins. Wow. What a catch.
06:06So it's out number one. And the game is still tied two to two. Gets that one high and deep
06:11to right field. Freelick back. There's no Robin. This one way up into the second deck.
06:19Graham McCray showing off the power. His third home run. It's three to two Giants. And this guy is getting
06:28locked in. His last four bats. Homer. Walk. Walk. Homer. Halfway up the second deck. In right center field. Jake
06:37Bowers got an amazing jump. He was halfway to second base before the pitch was even let go. This becomes
06:43an important at bat now for Adamus to try to get that runner over to third.
06:48At the very least. Fly ball left field. It is way back. It is way out of here. Willie Adamus
06:56gives the Brewers the lead. A two run shot for Willie. His 24th of the season. A change up. He
07:05left it up with his 110th pitch of the outing. It'll knock Logan Webb from this game.
07:12A screaming single by Chapman to greet Piams. Chapman aboard. And here's Mike Yastrzemski. Yastrzemski. A high fly ball. Right
07:21field. Freelick at the wall. Gone. Mike Yastrzemski. A towering home run. And the Giants go back in front. Five
07:33to four.
07:34Four. Giants lead five to four in the seven. All right. It's Ryan Walker here in the bottom of the
07:40ninth inning. Giants five. Brewers four. On the ground to short. Fitzgerald's got it. And he throws out Contreras. One
07:48away. And that'll get Bowers to the plate. Got him. Slider right on the corner. Two down. And the Brewers
07:56down to their last out. Line down the left field line. Life for the Brewers.
08:01As Ramos gets it in. Tying run is aboard. Still breathing. Here's Blake Perkins. Perkins. A fly ball right field.
08:09Yastrzemski underneath it. And he will put it away for out number three. The game is over. And the Giants
08:16have come to Milwaukee with some home run power. Some excellent defense. And some clutch bullpenning. The Giants get a
08:255-4 win.
