00:01The Giants who are just having about as bad of a stretch as they've had in a long time,

00:07and especially here at home, they really, really need a win.

00:10Well, look, everybody's feeling it right now, especially at home.

00:28On the hill tonight for the Giants will be the 20-year veteran Justin Verlander.

00:33His record on the year, 1-9 with a 4-5-3 ERA.

00:40and doesn't waste any time turning to throw to first to get the very fast Chandler Simpson.

04:18So they have not been able to figure him out.

04:27Picked up there by the shortstop alongside and thrown into second.

05:41Kos has done well in the chances he's had with runners in scoring position.

07:21And it's one to one in the eighth.

07:23And once again the bullpen cannot save it.

07:27To left field and the Rays take their first lead of the game.

07:30Well that's kind of how it's gone this year for Justin Verlander.

07:33He's given a lead to the bullpen a bunch this year.

07:36They haven't been able to cash it in for him.

07:38And who you would expect.

07:39Pete Fairbanks on the mound to try to get this thing to the finish line.

07:43Lee cost Fitzgerald Dua.

07:44Swing live right down the right field line.

07:46That's going to get down base hit.

07:48And the tying run aboard and the winning run coming into play.

07:51And there he goes.
