00:00Thirty-eight new charges in total have now been authorised against Andrew and Tristan Tate,
00:05bringing the total number of charges faced to 59.
00:09The charges relate to seven victims spanning a period from 2010 to 2017.

00:25I can now confirm that officers from the United States have arrested both Andrew and Tristan Tate
00:31in relation to this matter overnight and they have been detained pending ongoing legal proceedings.

00:42and we will continue to work tirelessly to support victims and investigate all reports made to us.

00:50We, of course, are going to fight extradition, so the court will set a hearing
00:55during which we will argue the merits of our position.
01:00We'll be looking at the fourth prong of the test, which is the probable cause prong.
01:05We believe that we have strong grounds and we will make that argument to the court at the appropriate time.
01:12I don't see any set of circumstances where the judge will want to do that today.

01:35We're going to need to examine the paperwork that comes over from the United Kingdom.
01:39We'll make our arguments in a few weeks and then we'll let the chips fall where they may.
01:45We think these charges are salacious and defamatory charges.
01:49Andrew and Tristan Tate have been accused of the most heinous acts that two men could be accused of
01:54for the past several years, but in multiple courts of competent jurisdictions across the world.
02:00In the United States, Romania, they have consistently been found innocent.
02:04The case in Romania is falling apart.
02:08The origin of that case actually started in Palm Beach, Florida, then Miami, then went to Romania.
02:14We subsequently sued the wrongful accuser in that case for defamation in Palm Beach County,
02:20where we are in front of Judge Curley.
02:23We've been litigating that case for, well, since July of 2023.
02:28We've survived the motions to dismiss.
02:30We are wrapping up discovery.
02:32That case is supposed to go to trial later this year or very early next year.
02:37We haven't lost any substantive hearings in that case whatsoever.
02:41We feel confident in our ability to win that case.
02:44And we believe that the United Kingdom, who's been after Andrew and Tristan for some time,
02:49knows this and that if we win that case, the entire narrative against Andrew and Tristan
02:54will collapse on its face.
02:55So the United Kingdom is conjuring up 32 new charges.
03:00Some of them are despicable, meritless, heinous, and atrocious.
03:06They're designed to poison the jury pool, to re-poison public consciousness.
03:11But I think that the level that the United Kingdom has gone in this particular case,
03:19with this particular set of allegations, these are new allegations that have never been a
03:25part of the narrative before.
03:26And I think the general public can see that this is a political hit job.
03:29It's designed to rob my clients of their due process rights in America and to clear their name.
03:34So that will certainly be one of the arguments that we make.
03:37We will say, look, there's a longstanding agreement with the Romanian court for the United Kingdom
03:42not to extradite.
03:44They're violating that court order by meddling in the affairs, not only in the Romanian case,
03:48but in the American case as well.
03:50And we're going to say, if they're going to get extradited at some point,
03:54let's do that after they have their day in court in Florida.
03:58They're American citizens.
03:59They've availed themselves to the justice system here.
04:01They're entitled to have their day in court.
04:03They should have their day in court.
04:04And then after they have their day in court, if you want to extradite them,
04:08well then, you know, there's nothing we can really do about that.
04:10But let us have our fair fight here in a system that we trust.
04:15The American justice system, the American court system, is the greatest system in the world.
04:19And we obviously believe that the case that pans out in Palm Beach
04:23will chart the course of the international narrative and the litigation
04:27that is against Andrew and Tristan in this world.
04:29We're confident that we're going to win.
04:31We've never seen a scintilla of evidence that indicates that these guys are guilty of anything.
04:36They're being punished and attacked for what they say, not what they've done.
04:40You can love them.
04:41You can hate them.
04:42But nobody should go to jail for free speech.
04:44And that is exactly what this is about.
04:46And make no mistake about it.
04:47The United Kingdom was once the greatest empire the world has ever known.
04:52It is a fallen nation.
04:53It is a fallen state that prosecutes its citizens for free speech.
04:57It puts old ladies in jail for praying the rosary in the street.
05:01And much now Tommy Robinson in Loxone has them locked up in Canada and in other places
05:06simply for exercising his free speech rights.
05:10If you speak out against that government, they put you in jail.
05:13That is not what democracies and free societies do.
05:15That is what communist China and despotic regimes do.
05:18And we're going to fight them at every turn and at every corner because they are American citizens.
05:23And their rights as American citizens should trump any political witch hunt in any other country in the world.
05:30You're going to be locked up until a decision is made.
05:33That's unfortunate.
05:35We certainly hope that that doesn't happen.
