Watch as a rare and powerful downburst sweeps across the coastline, transforming a calm beach into a dramatic weather spectacle.

Gianluca Cervetti captured the remarkable scene at Viserba di Rimini, Italy on July 15th.

The video shows an enormous dark storm cloud advancing rapidly over the Adriatic Sea, creating a striking contrast against the lighter water and shoreline. As the storm approaches, a powerful downdraft can be seen pushing toward the coast, signalling the arrival of the intense weather system.

The ominous cloud formation stretches across the horizon, giving beachgoers a front-row view of the rare meteorological phenomenon.
