Check out this heartwarming moment a mother is left completely stunned when her daughter unexpectedly walks through the door after believing only her son was coming to visit.

Heather Wanninger, from Mahomet, Illinois, secretly flew in to surprise her mum, who had no idea she was joining her brother on the trip.

The video captures the emotional reunion as Heather quietly enters the house in the early hours of the morning. Her mum initially freezes in disbelief before realizing who is standing in front of her, overcome with shock and emotion.

Heather explained that flight delays meant they didn't arrive until around 5 a.m., making the surprise even more unexpected.

Heather said: “My mom was only expecting my brother. She didn't suspect a thing. Flight delays meant we didn't walk in until 5 a.m., and her reaction was the best. She was completely shocked!”
