00:25This is Tim Wadsworth from Best Trek Uncertain TV.
00:28I'm here in New York City for the Tribeco Film Festival.
01:02Man, I don't, I feel like I've never been like truly frightened reading something.
01:08Oh, and I felt like it could have gone in a lot of different directions because all of
01:11the characters were so interesting and seem to have a lot going on.
01:22It's written as like a six foot three woman with piercing blue eyes.
01:26We ended up wallpapering like two out of the four walls in a lot of the rooms and then
01:31drew stick figures for everything.
01:34So every single shot in this movie was storyboarded and it was a very specific game plan.
01:39In the film, you don't see it that much.
01:41But somehow I found a book called David's Drawings, which was done by Matt Hutton.
01:47We started talking, but, you know, after a few months, it's the evil source.
01:53It's the scare that comes.
01:55And in my film, it's not like that.
01:57Turning into like top 40 hits.
02:00So Fox had this idea.
02:02I was seeing that was working or not working.
02:04So again, to my point about indie filmmaking and needing to be nimble, like I said, we're
02:09doing this in the studio.
02:11In such a short amount of time.
02:13And I really just give so many kudos to our crew and to our cast.
02:16These characters we played, if not all of them, they're not.
02:20Maybe Applewhite.
02:22But that's not what I'm just looking to say.
02:37And it's the same thing.
02:39And it's the same thing.
02:41To the darkness.
02:43And, although they're self-conclusive stories, and you see Dante, you see something that you
02:50make sure that it's going to happen the same night.
03:17Character conversations with us all beforehand, so usually via Zoom and
03:22we built Julia's background and kind of talked about his childhood.
03:29A personal story of his with his mum in a tree and it created a beautiful scene and yeah it's
03:36very open to spontaneity and we work very, very quickly.
03:40Your words, this comes from your character and what you feel and then she handed me the letter in a
03:45take and I kind of skim read it.
03:46The process lends itself to authenticity because you're kind of living it, you know, so it was easy to be
03:53upset.
04:17So in 2017 I started getting really anxious about pandemics and people.
04:23Was it a similar process to find her or have you guys come across the body?
04:27When you receive a script like Hollow Warrior, what is it that you're looking for?
04:30I'm going to start looking for you.
04:44I'm going to start reading the chat and I brought them in a little bit of life in the game.
04:47I'm going to start reading the best reading and are we going to start reading theечатments.
04:47You can see this.
04:48You can run out of our bodies and cover them by filling out the virus.
04:48It's very important, isn't it?
04:48It's very important, isn't it?
04:53It's very important.
04:58In the last 10 minutes, we'll be able to try again.
