00:03year trip to the Gold Coast. After arriving at Kulangatta Airport, we started our adventure
00:07at the Gold Coast's Home of the Arts. The Italian Renaissance Alive exhibition was a feast for the
00:11eyes, with iconic works like the Sistine Chapel and the Mona Lisa coming to life through stunning
00:15digital displays and a powerful operatic score. After soaking in the culture, we headed up to
00:20level 5 to the Exhibitionist Bar for a pizza and cocktail masterclass, and I'd have to say our
00:24pizzas actually turned out pretty damn good. Next we checked into our Junior Ocean Suite at the
00:28Langham Gold Coast, which is the pinnacle of luxury up here in the Goldie. By the afternoon,
00:32we were sailing in paradise on a private charter, soaking in the sun and serene waters. Does it
00:36actually get better than that? Also, did you know there's a lush rainforest and mountain region just
00:4030 minutes away from the city? Next morning we headed out for a full day Kiffin culture tour to
00:44Tambourine Mountain. Wine tasting at Witches Falls Winery and beer tasting at Fortitude Brewing Co. were
00:49absolute treats. Next we headed off to spirits tasting at Tambourine Mountain Distillery, with
00:53every flavour of liqueur you can imagine. After all that drinking beer, rest assured we weren't driving
00:58to dinner that night. As the sun set, we treated ourselves to dinner at Kost Bar & Grill, and if
01:02there's one place I'd recommend to eat, it's this place. I would 100% recommend the Seed Scallop with
01:07pickled cabbage and exo sauce. I'm still thinking about it to this day. On our last morning, we hit the
01:11golf course at RACV Royal Pines Resort for a few holes and some driving range fun. Lunch was at the
01:16Tropic in Belly Heads, which turned out to be the perfect way to wrap up our trip. Turns out visiting
01:20the Gold Coast midweek opens up a whole new range of opportunities, like less crowds, cheaper deals,
01:25and a more relaxed day. I guess it means it's time for us to book another Sneaky Midweekie.
