00:08This is the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and I'm driving it in one of the best road rallies
00:13in Australia, the Targa Classica right here in Albury, New South Wales. This isn't just a car
00:19that you experience, it's a car that you feel and today we're going to do that by taking it on
00:23the
00:23road, on the track, I'm going to show you a walk around of the car, the inside, I'm going to
00:27take
00:27you along and show you this Italian masterpiece and why it is the perfect car to drive in something
00:32like the Targa Classica.
00:38So before we hit the road, we have to talk about how gorgeous this car looks. Is this
00:42not the best looking sedan money can buy? The first thing you notice when you get behind
00:47the wheel of the car is just how good the steering is. It honestly shocked me when I picked this
00:52car up earlier in the week, I was like, man, the steering in this car is just so direct,
00:57it gives you so much feedback, it's just precise, it's the right amount, sort of perfect, I would
01:03say.
01:05Now, Alfa Giulia on the track. So I've put it into race mode, which tightens everything up
01:12and I've put the suspension in its stiffest setting. And this 8-speed gearbox already is
01:19really impressing me. In race mode, everything pretty much switches off. It's just you in
01:23the car and that limited slip diff starts doing its magic.
01:28The Alfa Romeo Giulia is fast. Yes, it has over 500 horsepower, but it's also perfectly balanced
01:34with a 50-50 weight distribution. And that 2.9 litre twin turbo V6 just sings along during
01:40the whole entire journey.
