00:19seem like, honestly, if you look at their record right now, Tom, if they play 500 baseball or a
00:25little bit above, they're going to take this wild card right down to the last day of the season.
00:29They are. This is a great showcase for Soriano and Detmers, as we alluded to earlier. This is a
00:36great showcase against a team that's overperforming, right? If they were to go out here and they were
00:41to do this against the Giants or the Rockies and put up good performances, so be it. But when you
00:47have a team that everyone agrees is having a solid season with the Cardinals, who are expected to be
00:51terrible, this is a good spot for Soriano and Detmers to get one of their final two starts before
00:56the trade deadline, bolster their stock that much further, and then the Angels can move them and get
01:02some assets back. Shut down a decently powerful lineup with the Cardinals. That's the goal for
01:06those two pitchers.
