Transcript
00:00My name is Claire and we entered the Wollongong City Council photo competition.
00:05Liam brought her flyer home from school and she was quite excited to go out and take some photos.
00:12We love looking for new places to go and explore and take photos of,
00:16whether it's a bushwalk or anything like that or just a local escarpment, anything like that.
00:22So it's a lot of fun. We get together and we go and take photos of our little suburb, don't
00:29we?
00:29What do you like about it?
00:31I like about photography and my favourite thing to take pictures of is the escarpment
00:38and I like sharing stories with others.
00:41Yeah, it's fun, isn't it?
00:42We've entered a few photos. We had a look at the flyer and it was of people enjoying the council
00:49and all the different areas and we thought, what best place to go in the lighthouse?
00:53Because we love it, you know.
00:55My granddad actually really loved that place.
00:58He loved the cannons and everything like that.
01:00So it's something that we go to ever since he was little.
01:03We love the cannons.
01:05So Liam took on direction in his photos.
01:08He's like, right, go this way, go that way with our friends, didn't you?
01:12And, you know, I'd love, this is the best idea.
01:14I've got this idea to go and do this.
01:16So you go over there and he took it on board really well.
01:19So he had a really good day.
