20 ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಜಂತರ್ ಮಂತರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪವಾಸ ಸತ್ಯಾಗ್ರಹ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸೋನಂ ವಾಂಗ್ಚುಕ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ದೆಹಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಆರೋಪ ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿದೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಕಾಕ್‌ರೋಚ್ ಪೀಪಲ್ಸ್ ಪಾರ್ಟಿಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅಭಿಜೀತ್ ದೀಪ್ಕೆ ಅವರು, ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸೋನಂ ವಾಂಗ್ಚುಕ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತವಾಗಿ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೂ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಆರೋಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ದೆಹಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಂದ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Sonam Wangchuk, who had been on a 20-day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, was allegedly taken into custody by Delhi Police, according to activist Abhijeet Deepke. He claimed that police forcibly removed Wangchuk and also assaulted him while he was heading to the protest site. These are allegations made by the activist, and an official response from Delhi Police is awaited.
