Nikhil Kumaraswamy: "We Have No Jealousy if D.K. Shivakumar Becomes CM, But We Stand With Bidadi Farmers"
ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಗೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಅಸೂಯೆ? ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರು ಒಬ್ಬರು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ನಾನಾಗಲಿ ದೇವೇಗೌಡರ ಆಗಲಿ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದ್ವಿ ನಮ್ಗೆ ಆ ಸಣ್ಣತನ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಆದ್ರೆ ಬಿಡದಿ ಟೌನ್ ಶಿಪ್ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡ ರೈತರ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಡೆಯುವಾಗ,ಕೃಷಿ ಮಾಡೋ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ ಕೊಡುವಾಗ ರೈತರ ಜೊತೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕಾಗಿರೋದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಅಂತಾ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
JDS Youth Wing President Nikhil Kumaraswamy said that neither he nor H.D. Devegowda would be jealous if D.K. Shivakumar became the Chief Minister, adding that they would congratulate anyone from their community who attained the post. However, he strongly criticized the Bidadi Township project, alleging that it harms poor farmers and affects their livelihoods. Nikhil asserted that standing with farmers facing hardship is the duty of his party.
