The High Court heard on Friday (July 17) that Nepturis Sdn Bhd issued a RM1 million cheque to Bersatu, dated Feb 16 2022, allegedly on the instruction of businessman TC Lian.

Managing director Mohd Rizman Akum Khan confirmed signing the cheque but said he couldn't determine if it was a bribe or donation, adding only TC Lian could clarify.

This is part of former PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's ongoing trial over alleged abuse of power and money laundering involving Bersatu.

00:312018, each holding a 50% stake, while T.C. Lian retained a 30% interest through capital injections from
00:40his company, Metrisis Sendirian Berhad.
00:42Under cross-examination by defense lawyer Datuk Amir Hamza Arshad, the witness said he could not confirm whether the 1
00:49million ringgit was a bribe or gratification, adding that only T.C. Lian could answer that.
00:55He also confirmed Nepturist secured a 141 million ringgit project, the North Klang District Police Headquarters project in Selangor.
