02:48was your reaction? I was shocked when I heard the news on Saturday. I mean, it's just a wild story.
02:52Wild indeed. Okay, so break it down. What happened? Yeah, so Mark Sanchez is a long-time NFL quarterback.
02:57He primarily played with the New York Jets, but he was a bit of a journeyman in his later years,
03:01played with several different teams. And he's now an analyst for Fox Sports. So on Saturday,
03:06October 4th, early in the morning, he allegedly was running sprints in an alleyway. And there he
03:12encountered a man in a box truck and started fighting with the driver over the parking spot.
03:16Surveillance footage shows the driver walking backwards away from Mark, and then Mark allegedly
03:20followed him and then grabbed him and threw him against a wall. And then the truck driver allegedly
03:24stabbed Mark, claiming self-defense. Both he and the 69-year-old truck driver ended up in the
03:29hospital with their injuries. How much trouble is Mark in? He is in a lot of trouble now. He was
03:33arrested in the hospital, apparently in his hospital bed, and initially faced three misdemeanor
03:38charges. One was battery with injury, another unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and public
03:43intoxication. The battery charge was actually upgraded on Monday to a felony, which means he
03:47could face jail time. Julie, where do we go from here? This is not looking great for Mark. He had
03:52his initial hearing on Tuesday. The prosecutor said the stabbing was completely unnecessary and that the
03:56truck driver likely has permanent scarring from this incident. The truck drivers also
03:59sued Mark and his employer Fox Sports. And then Mark's family spoke out for the first time the
04:04other day. They called it a deeply distressing time for everyone involved. Yeah, it just doesn't

09:15looked at Nick and he just started watching it with us. And it was actually really an organic,
09:20beautiful moment for us. It was during one of the breakups. He was like, that person is so sad.
09:26Like, she's so sad. Is that, is that what you feel? Because he's 13. He's never had his heart
09:33broken. So I'm like, well, yeah, you know, she was invested. And then he was like, why is he XYZ?
09:39Why is he not hugging her? Why is he, he had very matter of fact questions from a, like the virgin
09:46eyes of a 13 year old. And I'm like, that's a really good question.
