00:14This is some of the produce that I grow on the farm. I sell to restaurants in the
00:20Hunter Valley and have been doing so for over a couple of years. We sell to high-end
00:24restaurants and this mine extension represents a direct impact on that. In
00:29this transition process I hope to be able to employ mine workers in the
00:33transition on my farm and we can't talk about the post-mining future but this mining extension is an affront
00:41to that conversation that we're having globally and that is for that reason that I object to this coal mining
00:46extension.
00:47The roles in that that we have at HVO you can work within 15, 20, 30 minutes of site and
00:53come home to your family every night. Some of these places you go up to WA you're flying in, flying
00:57out and seeing your family for a long time.
00:59So yeah it means a lot to a lot of people. Yeah well that means a lot of people are
01:03going to be out of work in the local area. It's probably going to have massive knock-on effects for
01:07places like Brangston here and Siegelton in particular, probably Musselbrook. So yeah I think a lot of those places will
01:12really really feel it. HVO does a lot for the community.
