00:00Well, I work at Hunter Valley Operations. As the Lodge President, I represent over 800 members at that site.
00:09We also have, you know, somewhere in the region of 300 to 400 contractor members who are also there and
00:15rely on that site for their jobs.
00:17So it's incredibly important to feed their families that this line remains open.
00:22And what's your main message here today?
00:24My main message is that this operation not only affects the direct employees of the mine, but the mine workers'
00:35spouses are our local educators.
00:37They're local tradespeople, healthcare workers, retail workers.
00:41So this continuation not being improved not only affects direct mine workers, but workers across the valley and the future
00:49opportunities that are available to our kids.
