00:00I discovered that politics is not black and white, is not left and right.
00:05There are those that are far left that we just would not agree with.
00:09But there are those who are far right that you may not agree with.
00:13But there's a growing number of working people who work in the middle.
00:17And that's what deal making is.
00:19That's what that's what politics is.
00:23And it's not a perfect system in America.
00:25We know this.
00:26And we know that the two party system, many of our founding fathers spoke against it.
00:31But that's where we are today.
00:33And it works for us.
00:34And it is able to push the ball forward.
00:36So as I've matured politically from just being a pastor to being a political statesman on a federal, national, international
00:44level, I discovered that we cannot be isolationists.
00:48We cannot just focus on America.
00:51Me having met with other heads of states and other political leaders from other parts of the world.
00:56Understand the power and might of the United States government and how our power and our ability to associate and
01:04become friends with our partners around the world helps create the stability around the world.
01:09And so when you see people like Senator Lindsey Graham, who I've grown to respect and discovered that he was
01:16one of those dealmakers to do just what President Trump said, to be able to cross the aisle, to do
01:22what when President Bill Clinton was in presidency.
01:25And he worked with Speaker Newt Gingrich and the Republican-led Congress.
01:29And, yes, they were on two different aisles, but they were always on the same team.
01:33And that is the team of America to help the American people.
01:37And so my prayer is that more people will come.
01:40And the American people will not force politicians like us to choose sides but to choose right.
01:46We don't want to fight for what's popular.
01:49We want to fight for what is right, and that is to support the American people and also support our
01:55allies around the world.
01:57And Senator Lindsey Graham was a master at that.
02:00And I'm just blessed to have had a front row seat to see this person who I grew to learn
02:06to respect and learn to admire his ability to bring jobs to South Carolina, to draw in massive major corporations
02:15like Boeing to South Carolina.
02:17But at the same time, protect American interests around the world and to make sure that we don't continue to
02:25have 9-11s that our enemies out there desire to have.
02:31We'll see you next time.
