00:00Three or four adjectives you would use from your own personal experience of dealing with Senator Graham.
00:06Three or four adjectives you'd use to describe him.
00:11Extremely wise, extremely loyal to those that he served.
00:18But also, you know, again, he could take a punch and keep on going.
00:23And so people's opinions did not matter to him.
00:26I think he was focused on the goals that meant a lot to him.
00:29And, of course, we didn't agree on everything.
00:31But, again, my prayer is that those who are on social media who are saying nasty things about Senator Graham.
00:39And, again, I one time was a part of that same group that was saying nasty things about Senator Graham
00:45without really even knowing his, you know, his wisdom and his ability to negotiate and get things done.
00:52You can't just be on the other side and talk negatively about someone and nothing gets done.
00:59No, you have to be able to work with those who have been placed in power.
01:02And so he was able to take the hits from people, even when he was booed in his own city.
01:08I was there when President Trump spoke.
01:10And it was really loud.
01:12They booed him.
01:13And it was really embarrassing and bad.
01:16It didn't faze him whatsoever.
01:17He dusted himself off and kept on moving forward.
01:22So you have to appreciate a man that can take a hit and not be moved by it because I
01:27think he was truly, truly a servant of the people and not his popularity.
