For Nicole, keeping your cabinet and counter space as open as possible is pivotal to having a good kitchen. With that being said, there are a few kitchen gadgets that she can take or leave. In this video, she plays a game of love it or leave it with kitchen items that range from a slow cooker and blender to a slap chop and rice cooker!

00:00Hey Nicole. Hey. Love it or leave it kitchen gadget edition. All right. Vitamix blender. Leave it. A food processor
00:05can do just as much as a Vitamix blender or just a cheap blender. What about a digital thermometer? Love
00:10it. Digital thermometers are key in certain things. They're inexpensive. You don't need anything fancy. No Bluetooth required. Electric wine
00:17openers. Leave it. You don't need anything that needs batteries. It's unnecessary. A wine key just like the waiters use
00:23is all you need. It takes up no rim in your cabinet and it works every time. Kitchen shears. Love
00:28it. I use them every day.
00:30Not just for cutting food but for cutting open packages that you're cooking with every day or to cut your
00:34kids foods. Air fryers. Love it. I was kind of a hater at first because they took up so much
00:39counter space but they can be used for way more than just reheating leftovers or cooking frozen foods. The old
00:44slap chop. Leave it. Your chef's knife can do anything you need and that slap chop takes up too much
00:50room in the cabinet. Instant pots. Leave it. They're not used enough. The crock pot is my go-to. It's
00:55great that they can cook fast but you don't use it enough and they are huge. What about garlic?
01:00Garlic press. Love it. Garlic press is one of my favorite tools in the kitchen because I hate peeling garlic
01:04and getting all the peel stuck to my fingers. Use it every day and the garlic gets finely chopped just
01:09like you need in most recipes. Food processor. Love it. A food processor can do anything that a powerful blender
01:14can do. It can shred cheese, veggies, make dressings. Rice cookers. Leave it. Unless you cook rice all the time.
01:22I don't think it is necessary to take up any cabinet space. I think you can cook a perfect pot
01:26rice on your stove. If you need help let me know. What about a stand mixer? Love it. While they
01:31do take up counter space when I do need a mixer and it's sitting right there. Always love it. Keeps
01:36your arms from getting tired if you are making batters that require a lot of mixing. It can also do
01:41things like shred chicken and if you have some of the fancy attachments you can make pasta, sausage. It's a
01:46good investment. A crock pot. Love it. I use my crock pot every week if not every other week. Even
01:51in the summertime there's nothing like setting it and forgetting it. Electric can of beer.
01:55Leave it. Leave it. The hand crank works just fine. Takes up less space. You don't need electric can of
02:01it. All right. That's it. Thanks. Thank you.
