00:00:00ГП make a dream start to their home Grand Prix.
00:00:03MotoGP's FP1 session is underway in just a moment.
00:00:44The battle for glory in 2026 reaches the halfway stage this weekend with round 11 of 22 coming
00:00:49from the tight and twisty Saxon ring host the Grand Prix Germany since 1998 Saxon ring sits
00:00:54between Leipzig and Dresden in a rural part of the Saxony region and features draw dropping
00:00:59undulation in the season's shortest layout.
00:01:01We're underway with FP1 next live.
00:01:03It's time for MotoGP.
00:01:14Well the Saxon ring what a layout this is very very short very tight and twisty just 3.671
00:01:21kilometers 2.281 miles our first race here back in 1998 13 corners.
00:01:29Anticlockwise 1 of 6 anticlockwise tracked on the Grand Prix calendar 10 left just 3 right-handers
00:01:35for the world's best to tackle tied through that first sector before the track really does
00:01:39open out through 8, 9, 10 and then the spectacular right-hander the fifth gear spectacle of the
00:01:45Ralf Waldman curve as you plunge downhill.
00:01:48Heavy braking and good overtaking opportunity down into turn 12.
00:02:04Good morning and welcome back to the Saxon ring.
00:02:07Welcome back to our live coverage of the Grand Prix of Germany as we reach the halfway stage
00:02:14of this engrossing this captivating 2026 Mother GP World Championship campaign with the summer
00:02:21holidays a three-week summer break on the horizon who will be heading to the beach the happiest.
00:02:28What a world championship we have on our hands a potential classic title chase already in the
00:02:34making before we've even reached the halfway stage of a season that's had plot twists a plenty.
00:02:41Where to begin after another huge momentum shift last time out in the unforgettable Grand Prix of the Netherlands
00:02:46over in Aston.
00:02:48Jorge Martín, the factory at Priya Star coming into a Grand Prix weekend leading the world championship for the first
00:02:54time
00:02:55since the Solidarity Grand Prix in Barcelona back in 2024.
00:02:59Ayagura is fresh off the back and becoming Japan's first Mother GP race winner in 22 long years.
00:03:06Four riders at the top of this championship covered by just 25 points which means
00:03:12Martín, Marco Betsechi, Fabio de Gian Antonio or Ayagura could be our series leader heading into the summer break.
00:03:20Plenty to talk about on track, plenty to talk about off track as well as we head towards the welcome
00:03:25summer break.
00:03:26There's been a 2027 signing spree to crank up the anticipation of the new 850cc era next year.
00:03:33Martín and Ayagura have taken the almighty gamble to leave Aprilia.
00:03:37They'll be Yamaha's factory line-up next season, what a mouth-watering prospect that is.
00:03:41Alex Marquez and Fabio de Gian Antonio are hoping the future is bright because they're betting on orange.
00:03:47They are the new factory KTM line next year and more business has been done for our 2027 grid.
00:03:52Juanmi and Dani Holgado, an all-Spanish line-up for Grazini Ducati once again next year.
00:03:58But for the first time since November 2024, Jorge Martín heads into a Grand Prix weekend
00:04:03as the MotoGP world champion leader. Pastures new beckoning for the former world champion next year as well.
00:04:10That's been big news, it's been brewing for quite some time.
00:04:12Martín and Ayagura in a star-studded factory Emiha line-up next year.
00:04:16Big honour for Ayagura-san to be a Japanese rider spearheading a Japanese factory team next year.
00:04:22FB1 underway next line, though, in the company.
00:04:24Matt Burt Lewis should be in the garbage box. Jack Apeyar down in pit lane.
00:04:28We're starting to get a clearer picture, Lewis, of who our 2026 title contenders are going to be.
00:04:32And a clearer picture of where we're sitting in terms of our 2027 MotoGP grid.
00:04:37And Jorge Martín and Ayagura, they figure prominently in both equations.
00:04:41Yep, central to both of those big stories through this season.
00:04:45Either of them could still lead the world championship into the summer break.
00:04:50Agura within 25 points of the championship lead now after that victory.
00:04:54A victory that feels like the first of quite a few MotoGP for Ayagura.
00:04:59Fabio Di Gennantonio here, another rider who could lead the world championship.
00:05:02He's almost been the stealthy title contender, just picking up the solid points.
00:05:07Just that one victory in Barcelona.
00:05:09He also with some very good news to share with us.
00:05:12As you can there see on screen, as Matt mentioned, he has also got a factory contract in his pocket.
00:05:16As he swaps the Dayglo yellow of VL46 for the orange of KTM.
00:05:21Yeah, he said now the perfect time to take on the challenge of leading a factory, a steering development of
00:05:28a top factory.
00:05:29He'll be lining up in what's an exciting and a very experienced factory KTM line up next year.
00:05:33Alex Marquez, second in the world championship here last year.
00:05:38He will be part of that KTM line up in 2027.
00:05:43Fabio Di Gennantonio, third in the world championship, just 16 points.
00:05:47He is off the top of the standings.
00:05:49He's been the lead Ducati in the standings for what seems like forever, doesn't it?
00:05:53In the opening half of the campaign.
00:05:55Some other news breaking about the future after the Netherlands Grand Prix.
00:06:00Fabio Di Gennantonio might well be leaving VL46 Ducati.
00:06:03But Valentino Rossi confirming that they are staying as Ducati's officially backed independent team.
00:06:10A new three year deal has been signed by VL46.
00:06:14So they will be continuing their collaboration with the Bologna factory for 2027, 2028 and 2029.
00:06:21Part of that deal does see them get one full-spec factory new 850cc bike next year.
00:06:28Which we believe will be in the hands of Fermin Aldeguer, who is vacating his seat at Grazzini.
00:06:33And still lots of rumors about who will be the second rider at VL46 next year.
00:06:37With Niccolò Bouliga, the runaway world superbike champion leader.
00:06:40His name still figuring very prominently in terms of that option.
00:06:44Fermin Aldeguer, just to give you the news on his situation at the moment before this session gets underway.
00:06:50He is not here this weekend.
00:06:52The injury that ruled him out the rest of the Assam weekend after that Friday crash keeps him out of
00:06:56action here.
00:06:57But after his own high-speed crash in Assam, Marco Betzecchi is here.
00:07:02He is smiling, but he is no longer the MotoGP World Championship leader.
00:07:06And I think it feels, certainly based on what he said yesterday, about his physical condition of a weekend for
00:07:11Marco Betzecchi to survive and score points.
00:07:15Hard to believe, isn't it, what has happened to Marco Betzecchi since that unforgettable Sunday he had in front of
00:07:20his home crowd at Mugello in the Italian Grand Prix.
00:07:23He seems to be never going to get tired of seeing those celebrations.
00:07:26There's been no Grand Prix points since so for Marco Betzecchi.
00:07:30Only 13 points scored in total in the last three rounds.
00:07:34On Sundays, in the last three Grand Prix's, Marco Betzecchi has just done one full lap in the last three
00:07:40Sundays.
00:07:40Of course, he was taken out at Turn 1 in Balaton Park.
00:07:43He wasn't even able to compete in Bruneau.
00:07:45Suspended after his altercation with the marginal.
00:07:47And then on lap two, a real scary 200-kilometre-an-hour crash in Assam has really put a massive
00:07:53dent in Betzecchi's title challenge.
00:07:56Well, going to Grazini Ducati from the official factory Honda team next year.
00:07:59As you can see on screen, is Joan Mir, an exciting all-Spanish line-up once again for Nadia Padovani's
00:08:05squad.
00:08:05Joan Mir, the 2020 World Champion, will be on to Ducati next year.
00:08:09And rekindling a relationship, a very successful relationship, of course,
00:08:12with his former crew chief Frankie Carcedi, who he will be with next year.
00:08:16Those two, of course, the combo together when they won the World Championship for Suzuki back in 2020.
00:08:21And his team-mate, as you can see there on screen, will be Danny Holgardo.
00:08:24Myself and Elliot York discussed him at length in the Moto2 session moments ago.
00:08:30Holgardo has earned his spot.
00:08:31He's going to be one of quite a few rookies, we suspect, once all the announcements are done in MotoGP
00:08:37next season.
00:08:38Mir looking to try and have the same injection into his career that we saw for the Marquez brothers in
00:08:45their time with Grazini.
00:08:47Sadly, as Lewis mentioned, no filming Aldeguer here this weekend.
00:08:49He remained sidelined to continue what's another big injury recovery for Aldeguer.
00:08:55Of course, he suffered a fractured left femur in pre-season right at the start of January.
00:08:59No replacement riding will be fielded.
00:09:01So Alex Marquez going solo here this weekend in the Saks ring.
00:09:05That's unfortunate, actually, for Iko Lecuona, who did such a great job replacing Alex Marquez in the Hungarian Grand Prix
00:09:11a few weeks ago.
00:09:12Unfortunately, Iko Lecuona unavailable to step back into replacement duties for Grazini this weekend because he's got more pressing matters.
00:09:20The British superbike round in World 2 bikes taking place at Donington Park this weekend, which meant that Lecuona was,
00:09:27of course, unavailable to sub this weekend for Aldeguer.
00:09:30And he's got three more races to win, one suspect, based on what we've seen from Niko Bilga so far
00:09:35this season.
00:09:36And Marc Marquez, well, he might feel he's got two more to win here this weekend.
00:09:40The sprint tomorrow and the Grand Prix on Sunday, which, as you can see, will see him tie the record
00:09:44for the most MotoGP wins at a single racetrack.
00:09:47He is after a tenth MotoGP success at the Saks ring.
00:09:51And if you include his Moto2 and his 125 successes, he is after a lucky 13th Saks ring victory here
00:09:58this weekend.
00:09:59However fit he is, and there are still question marks as to just how fit Marc Marquez is right now.
00:10:04He still starts this weekend as the runaway favourite.
00:10:07Ten MotoGP appearances here at the Saks ring, Marc Marquez.
00:10:10He has never finished lower than second.
00:10:13Nine of those have been from the top step of the podium.
00:10:15The only time he didn't win was in 2024, of course, when he had to find his way through from
00:10:2013th on the grid on the Grasini Ducati.
00:10:23So then just before the majority of the paddock and certainly us in the comments box head off on our
00:10:28summer holidays.
00:10:29Very hard earned after a pretty intense recent run has taken us across all of Europe.
00:10:34We are set for action then here in the Grand Prix of Germany.
00:10:39Big, big test this Saks ring circuit.
00:10:41Short in configuration just 3.671 kilometres, but it packs a punch in places.
00:10:47Tough, tough braking zone into the first corner when you get the rear lifting up as you squeeze a handful
00:10:53of brakes over the crest down into that off-camber first corner.
00:10:56And then there is the magnificent, for me, probably one of the top three corners on the entire Grand Prix
00:11:02calendar.
00:11:03It's always a super special sight to see the world's best riders plunge down through the Ralph Waldman curve, turn
00:11:0911.
00:11:10It is some sight to watch the riders tackle that particular part of the Saks ring circuit.
00:11:17Well, we know what the Factory Ducati team are doing in 2027.
00:11:20We know what the Factory Yamaha team are doing in 2027.
00:11:24We now know what the Factory KTM team are doing in 2027.
00:11:28The only Factory squad yet to play their cards in terms of their line-up floor next year, of course,
00:11:36are Honda, which we believe Fabio Patero is going to be one of their riders.
00:11:41And a toss-up we've seen between David Alonso and Diogo Moreira about who will be alongside him at HRC
00:11:47next season.
00:11:48It doesn't feel like there's a bad decision there, is there, between Alonso and Moreira.
00:11:52Although Cal Crutchlow, unfortunately, has had a tough start to the weekend on the LCR Honda, which we might yet
00:11:59see David Alonso on next season.
00:12:01It doesn't appear as if it's down to Cal.
00:12:02It looks as if the LCR Honda has had some early mechanical problems on its first out-lap of the
00:12:07weekend.
00:12:09Yeah, that's an unfortunate start to Cal Crutchlow's weekend.
00:12:13Of course, he continues to stand in for the absent Frenchman, Joan Zarco.
00:12:17Some positive news as far as Joan Zarco goes.
00:12:21We were told that LCR Honda released a statement in the building to this German Grand Prix weekend,
00:12:26saying that Joan Zarco has undergone further medical assessment.
00:12:29He was waiting for what we believe was going to be extensive surgery on his mangled left knee after that
00:12:34horrible crash in Barcelona a few weeks ago.
00:12:37A nasty burn was preventing the operation from taking place.
00:12:40Good news for Zarco, he does no longer require surgery,
00:12:43and now he's targeted potentially a September return to action.
00:12:47That's the good news, the bad news is when he does come back,
00:12:50he's been hit with a double long lap penalty.
00:12:52Welcome back, Joan.
00:12:52Yeah, welcome back.
00:12:54So yeah, speedy recovery for Joan Zarco.
00:12:57Yeah, unfortunately, you can't adopt sentimentality when you're deciding whether to hand out penalties or not.
00:13:03Yes, of course, it was a very painful crash, not just for Joan Zarco to experience, but for all of
00:13:08us to look at.
00:13:09But it was a crash that Joan Zarco caused, and he will serve a double long lap penalty when he
00:13:13makes his return from injury.
00:13:15And we hope it is sooner rather than later.
00:13:17I have to say when I saw that news, I was amazed that we even more entertained the possibility of
00:13:22seeing Joan Zarco as early as September.
00:13:24So potentially you might only miss another three Grand Prix's before we see him back in action.
00:13:29Potentially the earliest we might see him back is Mizano, perhaps more likely Austria or the flyaway stretch starting in
00:13:35Japan for a return for Joan.
00:13:37But just showing that graphic there, Aston, in every sense, was a super weekend for the super-far track-out
00:13:44of Furrier Squad.
00:13:45Only the second time in Grand Prix history to complete a weekend where both of their rides were first and
00:13:51second in the sprint and in the Grand Prix.
00:13:53Last time that happened, the only time previously that happened was Pekka Banyai and Marc Marquez in the Motegi Mountains
00:14:00in Japan last year.
00:14:01And what was a pretty special occasion for Ducati when Marc won his seventh World Championship.
00:14:06But yes, Superfile Trackhouse.
00:14:08Ralph Fernandes leading home Ayagura in a sprint one-two in the Netherlands.
00:14:12It was roles reversed in that brilliant Sunday show in Aston for Superfile Trackhouse.
00:14:17Ayagura becoming the first Japanese Grand Prix winner in the Premier Class since Makoto.
00:14:21Tomorrow in 2004, early crash here for Marc Marquez.
00:14:25We're going to go down to Jack very, very shortly, but it's just an early tip-off here then for
00:14:29Marc Marquez.
00:14:30He's on the power, coming out of turn three, the Omega Corner.
00:14:33So a far from ideal start then for the undisputed King of the Saxo Ring.
00:14:39You can see there Marc's quickly back on his feet.
00:14:41Well, that is on only his third lap of the morning.
00:14:44He'd gone straight away up in the second place behind Marco Betsechi.
00:14:47We've seen riders crash at that corner in all classes now this morning.
00:14:51We had a backing Danish went down there in Modo 3.
00:14:54And we also saw Paula down there in the Modo 2 session.
00:14:57And as much as this circuit of Saxo Ring largely goes left, it's often the right that we find the
00:15:02riders coming unstuck.
00:15:03So Marc looks relatively A-OK.
00:15:06Let's just have a look at this one then from the outside camera.
00:15:09Through turn three he goes.
00:15:11Just going to cut to a late apex here.
00:15:14Is it on the curve there? Just on the inside curve there.
00:15:16Looked like he might have just clipped it, unsettled the bike, enough to send Marc into the gravel trap.
00:15:26Just here and there, just feathering the power back in, feathering the throttle.
00:15:31No great damage done to that factor Ducati.
00:15:33More importantly, no great damage done to our reigning world champion.
00:15:37Well, let's pick it up once again with Jack.
00:15:39Thanks for his patience.
00:15:40Thanks also to the patience of Superfire Boss, Davide Brivia.
00:15:44Can they repeat their brilliance of Aston?
00:15:46What a story it was for the American-based team.
00:15:49Jack Downey, good morning, guys.
00:15:50Yeah, good morning to everybody at home.
00:15:52Good morning to Davide.
00:15:53As we saw on the screens just a moment ago.
00:15:55Trackhouse making history just a couple of weekends ago.
00:15:58Only the second team in the sprint era to have gone 1-2 in both the sprint and the Grand
00:16:03Prix.
00:16:03Now, two weeks on.
00:16:04What has the last few days been like, Davide?
00:16:07And the reaction back in America where, of course, the team is based.
00:16:11Yeah, of course, it was a great story.
00:16:14But also, on the Saturday of Aston,
00:16:17and Trackhouse has won the Xfinity on a Superfight Colours.
00:16:23So, it was a great weekend for Trackhouse.
00:16:26And, yeah, of course, everybody happy, everybody proud.
00:16:29But this is the past.
00:16:32So, now we have to restart a new weekend.
00:16:36Back to Friday morning in Aston.
00:16:39And try to build up a good weekend.
00:16:42What's happening in Aston is not easy to repeat.
00:16:44But it's done.
00:16:46And so, we're here, of course, happy and try to do our best.
00:16:54We spoke in Aston about I and the team enjoying that underdog mentality.
00:17:00That tag of going under the radar ever so slightly in the World Championship.
00:17:03But I don't think we can say that any longer.
00:17:06After four straight top two finishes, including that win last time out.
00:17:11Ai is a serious contender now.
00:17:14How will that pressure, how will that spotlight, do you think,
00:17:17change him and the environment here at all?
00:17:19I think we don't really feel a contender yet.
00:17:23Because it's a long way to go.
00:17:27I think the championship will probably start around Aragon.
00:17:31Which is a marked track.
00:17:34And then in Asia will be the time.
00:17:38So, I don't know.
00:17:40It's very early.
00:17:42We try to enjoy.
00:17:43We try to build up a good weekend.
00:17:46And then we will see.
00:17:47Ai speaking in the press conference yesterday.
00:17:49Stated that this is one of his real bogey circuits.
00:17:52So, are you expecting a slightly different weekend to what we saw in Assen?
00:17:58Yeah, but of course, during the season you can have a good weekend, bad weekend.
00:18:03The most important is not to get too much excited when it's a good weekend.
00:18:08And not to be depressed when it's a difficult weekend.
00:18:11But just be stable.
00:18:13Keep a good balance and keep going.
00:18:15Try to score as many points as possible.
00:18:18At the end of the year we will do the calculations.
00:18:21And just finally on Raul.
00:18:23We should touch on him.
00:18:24Another excellent weekend.
00:18:25At a time when we've all known that he's racing for his MotoGP future.
00:18:30It feels as though he's used all of that pressure.
00:18:33All of that expectation.
00:18:35And fueled it into positive results.
00:18:37What does that say about his mentality?
00:18:39Yeah, no.
00:18:40It's remarkable.
00:18:41And I told him yesterday.
00:18:44That despite the situation.
00:18:46Despite the pressure.
00:18:47He reacted well.
00:18:49And I like that.
00:18:51I mean, I really appreciate it.
00:18:52It also means growing up.
00:18:55Maturing.
00:18:56And so, I think he can have a good future.
00:19:00Davide, great to chat.
00:19:01And have a good weekend.
00:19:02Hopefully it's as good as Assen.
00:19:04Hopefully a good weekend.
00:19:06Thanks, Jack.
00:19:08Thanks, Jack.
00:19:08Thanks, two-track gasp.
00:19:09Davide Brivia.
00:19:10Yeah, the future looks pretty bright, doesn't it?
00:19:11For Ayagura.
00:19:12And for Ralph Fernandez.
00:19:14The present looking exceptionally bright for the American base team.
00:19:18Ralph Fernandez has won two of the last four sprints.
00:19:21I was surprised when I was updating my stats.
00:19:24That second place to Agua and Assen was actually his first Grand Prix podium.
00:19:27Since the opening round of the season.
00:19:29In Burram.
00:19:30In Thailand.
00:19:32He'd been to the podium on Sunday.
00:19:34On a couple of occasions since.
00:19:35Fabio De Gianantonio.
00:19:37That was briefly leader of this session.
00:19:38Because now it's Alex Marquez who's taken control.
00:19:42Talking of heroic rides in 2026.
00:19:45The one that Alex Marquez delivered.
00:19:47When he was battered and bruised.
00:19:49Not fully back to full fitness.
00:19:51After his holdable crash.
00:19:53When he hit Pedro Acosta in Barcelona.
00:19:55The monumental practice high side he had over in Assen.
00:19:58Alex Marquez taking the checker flag at the end of that Dutch Grand Prix.
00:20:02In fifth place.
00:20:04Lewis, right up there.
00:20:05One of the rides of the season.
00:20:06Yeah, my mind goes back to this race last year.
00:20:09When he finished second.
00:20:10Despite recently returning from an injury.
00:20:12I think that was a more impressive ride.
00:20:13Two weeks ago in Assen.
00:20:15It was a race where.
00:20:17His plan going in.
00:20:18Well he said himself.
00:20:18His plan was to stop with 10 laps to go.
00:20:21To manage his physical condition.
00:20:22Because you might recall.
00:20:23He sat out qualifying.
00:20:25On the Saturday.
00:20:26Took a 12th place start on the grid.
00:20:28And started to save some energy.
00:20:30For the sprints.
00:20:31But with riders dropping out ahead of him.
00:20:33An instant ahead of him.
00:20:34And all of a sudden the top six result on offer.
00:20:36Alex Marquez.
00:20:37Decided to keep going.
00:20:38To put himself through the pain barrier.
00:20:40Which we have seen him do.
00:20:41In the past.
00:20:42And fight hard for that fifth place.
00:20:44To finish ahead of his brother.
00:20:46Mark.
00:20:47To come within a lap.
00:20:48Of finishing ahead of Fabio Gian Antonio.
00:20:50And potentially the top Ducati too.
00:20:52A fine ride for Alex Marquez.
00:20:55Given that he is nowhere near 100%.
00:20:57Near a 50% fit.
00:20:58Good recent record here as well for Alex.
00:21:00Podium here in 2024.
00:21:02The first time on that occasion.
00:21:04Of course two brothers.
00:21:05Stood on a Mudder GP podium.
00:21:06Since the Aoki brothers.
00:21:08And him all the way back in 1997.
00:21:10And he was second in the Grand Prix.
00:21:12Here last year.
00:21:13And what was a pretty memorable.
00:21:14100th Grand Prix.
00:21:15Starting Mudder GP.
00:21:15For Alex.
00:21:16It was his 50th career podium.
00:21:18At the time.
00:21:19As well.
00:21:2030 years of age now.
00:21:21Is Alex.
00:21:21I think he felt.
00:21:24He recognised the fact.
00:21:25That Ducati were going to look.
00:21:27To a younger talent.
00:21:29For their factory line-up.
00:21:30To slot in alongside Mark.
00:21:31He said no qualms whatsoever.
00:21:33Pedro Acosta was the obvious choice.
00:21:35To jump into the factory team.
00:21:36Alongside Mark.
00:21:37Despite the fact that Alex.
00:21:38Of course was.
00:21:38A super strong second.
00:21:40In the World Championship last year.
00:21:41But at the age of 30.
00:21:43He felt like now.
00:21:44Was the time.
00:21:45He really had to try.
00:21:46And.
00:21:47Take on that responsibility.
00:21:49And of course.
00:21:50The perks that come with it.
00:21:51The checklist.
00:21:51The check.
00:21:52Will be pretty handy.
00:21:53As well.
00:21:53But to lead a factory.
00:21:54I think.
00:21:54Was an opportunity.
00:21:56That Alex.
00:21:56At the age of 30.
00:21:57Just simply.
00:21:58Can not say no to.
00:21:59When KTM.
00:22:00Came knocking.
00:22:01Yeah.
00:22:02Of course.
00:22:02Was a factory rider.
00:22:03At the start of his career.
00:22:04But this.
00:22:05The first time.
00:22:05He's genuinely.
00:22:06Led a factory.
00:22:07In MotoGP.
00:22:08And Ian Fabic.
00:22:09And Antonio.
00:22:10Will be.
00:22:11Charged with the task.
00:22:12Of leading KTM.
00:22:13Back to.
00:22:14Grand Prix success.
00:22:15Speaking of KTM.
00:22:16We've had an early crash there.
00:22:17For Maverick.
00:22:18Vinales.
00:22:19Who was.
00:22:20Kicking.
00:22:21Bits of broken KTM.
00:22:22Away from what will.
00:22:23By the looks of the corner.
00:22:24He's crashed.
00:22:24That'd be a pretty high speed spill.
00:22:25Yeah.
00:22:26That's a big.
00:22:27Big game.
00:22:27That's about the biggest guilt.
00:22:28You can have here.
00:22:29In the sax room.
00:22:30Let's just track.
00:22:30Vinales then.
00:22:32Through turn 11.
00:22:33We go.
00:22:33The bike was unsettled.
00:22:34Wasn't as he flung it.
00:22:35Onto the right hand side.
00:22:37Looked like maybe.
00:22:37Just a little bit of twitch.
00:22:38On the rear.
00:22:39Just put a bit.
00:22:39Too much weight.
00:22:40Over the front.
00:22:41And Vinales.
00:22:42Along.
00:22:43For the ride.
00:22:45He knows.
00:22:45What a high speed crash.
00:22:46At the sax room.
00:22:47Feels like.
00:22:47Well he really does.
00:22:48And Maverick Vinales.
00:22:49Well it looks like.
00:22:50He's heading for.
00:22:51What appears to be.
00:22:52A rather.
00:22:53Acrimonious.
00:22:54Divorce.
00:22:55With Tech 3.
00:22:56And KTM.
00:22:57At the end of the season.
00:22:58Because.
00:22:59Once again.
00:23:00Maverick has not.
00:23:01Been shy.
00:23:02About airing his views.
00:23:03On his current.
00:23:04Contractual situation.
00:23:05Or lack of.
00:23:06With.
00:23:07Gunther Steiner's.
00:23:08French based team.
00:23:09And the Austrian factory.
00:23:10That is a very expensive.
00:23:12Crash that.
00:23:12For Mario Pinales.
00:23:13As our camera.
00:23:14Just about.
00:23:14Keeps up.
00:23:15With.
00:23:16His.
00:23:17RC16.
00:23:18Which has.
00:23:19Barrel road.
00:23:20Through the gravel trap.
00:23:21On several times.
00:23:22That's a wrecked.
00:23:24KTM.
00:23:25Budget buster there.
00:23:26For Gunther Steiner.
00:23:28And once again.
00:23:29That went so early.
00:23:30On Mario Pinales.
00:23:31Lewis.
00:23:32Mario Pinales.
00:23:34Venting his frustration.
00:23:35About his situation.
00:23:37His future.
00:23:38With the media.
00:23:39Said that.
00:23:40Kind of resigned.
00:23:41To the fact.
00:23:42That he's not gonna be on the grid.
00:23:43In 2027.
00:23:44He said.
00:23:45I'm burnt out.
00:23:45I feel like.
00:23:46Maybe I am ready.
00:23:47To step away.
00:23:48From the sport.
00:23:49But.
00:23:49Once again.
00:23:51KTM.
00:23:52And Tech3.
00:23:53On the receiving end.
00:23:54Of his wrath.
00:23:55Yeah.
00:23:56He essentially.
00:23:57Suggested.
00:23:58That he'd.
00:23:58Signed a contract.
00:23:59That was.
00:24:00Sent down.
00:24:01To him.
00:24:01Around.
00:24:01About Mugello time.
00:24:03And that contract.
00:24:04Has been.
00:24:04Taken off the table.
00:24:05Once again.
00:24:06From KTM.
00:24:07Whether that was.
00:24:08Around the point.
00:24:09That he made.
00:24:09Those rather barbed.
00:24:10Comments.
00:24:10A couple of weeks ago.
00:24:11Only KTM.
00:24:12Can truly.
00:24:13Answer that.
00:24:14As we're.
00:24:14Watching.
00:24:15Toughback.
00:24:15Rascatioglu.
00:24:16Go wide.
00:24:17Into.
00:24:18Turn one.
00:24:18Just.
00:24:19About keeping him.
00:24:20Off the gravel.
00:24:20No.
00:24:20He does.
00:24:21Briefly.
00:24:21Head through.
00:24:22That deep gravel.
00:24:22Trap.
00:24:23Turn one.
00:24:24But.
00:24:25It is a shame.
00:24:26Not only if it's.
00:24:27KTM.
00:24:28Stint.
00:24:28Ends.
00:24:29In this way.
00:24:30But what.
00:24:30Looks like.
00:24:31Being.
00:24:31Potentially.
00:24:31His.
00:24:32MotoGP.
00:24:33Career.
00:24:33To.
00:24:33Maverick Vinales.
00:24:34Has.
00:24:35Still got.
00:24:35So much.
00:24:36To offer.
00:24:36Much of.
00:24:36He's only.
00:24:3731.
00:24:37Years of age.
00:24:38But.
00:24:38Hasn't.
00:24:39Really.
00:24:39Been.
00:24:39The same.
00:24:40Rider.
00:24:41Since.
00:24:41That nasty.
00:24:42Shoulder.
00:24:43Injury.
00:24:43Right here.
00:24:44In.
00:24:45Q2.
00:24:45When he.
00:24:46Crashed.
00:24:46Coming.
00:24:46Into.
00:24:47Turn.
00:24:47Four.
00:24:48In.
00:24:48That.
00:24:48Rain.
00:24:48Effective.
00:24:49Four.
00:24:49Five.
00:24:49Session.
00:24:50Last.
00:24:50Year.
00:24:50And.
00:24:51Sadly.
00:24:51From.
00:24:52Maverick.
00:24:52Vinales.
00:24:52His point of view.
00:24:53He won't like.
00:24:53Hearing it.
00:24:54But.
00:24:54KTM.
00:24:55Haven't seen.
00:24:55Maverick.
00:24:56Operate.
00:24:56His top.
00:24:57Level.
00:24:57Since.
00:24:58Then.
00:24:58And.
00:24:58It's.
00:24:59For.
00:24:59Reasons.
00:25:00That.
00:25:00They.
00:25:00Have.
00:25:00I guess.
00:25:01They.
00:25:01Can't.
00:25:01Feel.
00:25:01That.
00:25:02They.
00:25:02Can't.
00:25:02Trust him.
00:25:02To.
00:25:03Offer him.
00:25:03A.
00:25:03Two-year contract.
00:25:05Hard.
00:25:05Believe.
00:25:06Really.
00:25:06Looks like.
00:25:06That.
00:25:07Saxon.
00:25:07Run.
00:25:08Q2.
00:25:08Crash.
00:25:08We had.
00:25:09Here.
00:25:09Last.
00:25:09Year.
00:25:10Potentially.
00:25:10Was.
00:25:10The beginning.
00:25:11Of.
00:25:11The end.
00:25:12Of.
00:25:12The end.
00:25:13Of.
00:25:13The end.
00:25:14The end.
00:25:34Of.
00:25:34After.
00:25:35His.
00:25:35Early.
00:25:36Tip-off.
00:25:36At.
00:25:36Turn.
00:25:37Three.
00:25:38It's going to take a lot more than that to knock mark out of his stride.
00:25:41Around.
00:25:42Saxon.
00:25:43Circuit.
00:25:43Which.
00:25:44He has.
00:25:44Made.
00:25:45His own.
00:25:47His.
00:25:47Grand Prix career.
00:25:49Astonishing.
00:25:49Astonishing record.
00:25:5112 victories.
00:25:52Is he going to get around turn three on this occasion?
00:25:55Certainly is.
00:25:56Yeah.
00:25:57Not entertaining.
00:25:58Running over the curve.
00:25:58And cutting that tight inside line.
00:26:00This time around.
00:26:01Was he Mark?
00:26:01He was on just.
00:26:02His third lap.
00:26:04Of the weekend.
00:26:04Shall we have a little bit of a pause?
00:26:05dopo once?
00:26:07He's going to be locked down,
00:26:19If he would come back those videos?
00:26:20You ever want?
00:26:20In Suvis mind?
00:26:24He's gone we have to?
00:26:26Oh no.
00:26:31I'm sick California kita!
