00:18I think that has been the smartest thing just because, for example,

00:22we had an emergency where our cat almost died that was like $12,000

00:27and it was so much nicer to just be able to like be like,

00:31okay, you know, this is really tight for us,

00:33but like we can make sure our cat doesn't die.

00:38It was, it's really nice to have,

00:40like we paid for our wedding almost entirely ourselves.

00:43Like we had, like we've, and we still have like a buffer.

00:48Yeah. I mean, like when you talk about since we've got,

00:51since we got married or started living together,

00:52it's just the fact that like these disasters or these things like getting married

00:56wasn't as fast, but paying for a wedding,

00:58excuse me, paying, financially paying for a wedding

01:00is known for being incredibly difficult

01:02and you don't want to start off your marriage in debt

01:07and then we have the emergency with the cat like almost a year later

01:11and that was like, that could have financially screwed us up.

01:14I mean, you don't want to be starting off your life together

01:17and then just being like, oh, should we open a credit card

01:20and max it out to survive?

01:21That seems like, so yeah, saving and having that cushion

01:24for those emergencies would probably be the smartest thing we've done.
