00:00I've always been a big fan of Les Paul. Since I started playing the guitar, I was a big fan
00:05of Slash, and he got me into Les Pauls.
00:08And yeah, I've been playing Les Pauls all my life, basically, until two years ago when Gibson told me,
00:16OK, do you want to try? We have a new SG coming out. Maybe we can send it to you
00:22just to try, you know?
00:24And at the beginning, I thought, OK, I don't need this. I don't need to try it. I already have
00:28what I need.
00:30And then I told them, yeah, why not? And I love the finish because it looked less, you know, a
00:35classic rock, a hard rock, not the heritage cherry classic finish.
00:40So I said, yeah, why not? And so I got my hands on this guitar.
00:45Yeah, and it's crazy how easy it is to play an SG compared to a Les Paul.
00:51So I thought, yeah, I started playing and playing again because, yeah, it felt really easy.
00:57So every time I was practicing in my living room, when I grabbed the guitar, I took the SG because
01:02it's lighter.
01:03And I don't know, it felt good between my hands. And so I thought, OK, maybe I should use it
01:09on a gig just to check.
01:11And then I didn't want to give it back to Gibson. So I told them, OK, I'm going to buy
01:16it. I'll keep it.
01:17I really like this model. I did a few modifications. But yeah, it's crazy because I spent all my life,
01:26I've been the few years I've been playing on Les Pauls.
01:30And I've always loved Les Pauls. But you have to fight against the Les Paul, I think, to play it.
01:36It's like you're fighting against your guitar. And yeah, it's heavy. And you have to earn to play it.
01:43But the SG, it's, yeah, everything feels really fluid, really easy and natural and comfortable.
01:51And you don't have to fight. Everything is, yeah, feels good.
