WOMAN FILMS HAIR STANDING ON END MOMENTS BEFORE LIGHTNING DANGER
WITH VID

BY JAIANSH SHARMA

Check out this chilling moment a woman unknowingly captures a little-known warning sign that can precede a lightning strike.

Kristina Ibragimova, from Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan, filmed the unusual scene during a thunderstorm.

The video shows Kristina laughing as her hair suddenly begins standing on end in the middle of the storm, initially believing it was a harmless and amusing moment.

It was only later that she learned the phenomenon can be a sign of a strong electrical field, indicating that a lightning strike may be imminent.

Realizing how close she may have been to serious danger, Kristina said the experience left her stunned when she understood what had actually happened.

Kristina said: “At the time, I thought it was funny and had no idea it could be dangerous. It was only afterward that I learned my hair standing up could be a warning sign that lightning was about to strike.”

Viewers were shocked by the close call.

One wrote: “You were literally one step away from the Darwin Award.”
