Randy C Moore - BIO

RANDY C MOORE is a Texas Music Artist and a member of The European Country Music Hall of Fame. A native of Humble, Texas, at 15 years of age, Randy was making his own records and with the help of Houston radio personality Arch Yancey (KNUZ), his first single releases were receiving significant Texas radio airplay. In addition, he was also a regular feature of the world-famous Gilley’s club in Pasadena, Texas. By the time he graduated high school, Randy was a guest star on WSM’s Grand Ole Opry and has been an Opry guest star on many occasions.

He attended Belmont University in Nashville for modern recording and pro song writing. All the while, he was opening shows on the road with Hank Williams Jr., David Allen Coe, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, and Lee Ann Rimes. His song writing career teamed him up and rockabilly legend, Carl Perkins. Randy and Carl penned the song “Big Bertha”. “Bertha” became a top single recorded by Ronnie Milsap and Vince Gill for the Black River Entertainment label in 2021.

In October 2001, Randy was a feature artist on The Alliance of Neighbors (Red Bank, NJ) 9/11 Benefit Concert with Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Phoebe Snow, Joe Ely, and Smithereens. Randy performed with a backing band composed of Elvis Presley’s rhythm section.

On the world stage, Randy C Moore has played shows from Shanghai, China to Monaco. From tours of the Middle East to Denmark as well as most of the U.S. lower forty-eight states. His Texas performances include The Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Gala, The Crowman Jam, The Bluebonnet Opry, and The Hometown Opry in Pasadena, Texas.

Randy C Moore has a new single for the summer of 2025, “Cat’s in the Cradle”, originally by Harry Chapin. Moore’s recording of “Cat’s” will be a feature from Amazon Prime’s forthcoming film, The 50th Year Anniversary- Harry and Sandy Chapin’s “Cats in the Cradle” (In Plain View Entertainment/Amazon Prime/Apple TV), premiering November of 2025. Some of the other artists in this are Pat Benatar, Judy Collins, Billy Joel and others.
