Death toll from China storms and floods rises to 15, state media says

00:01Thunderstorms and strong winds in central China killed at least 15 people and injured hundreds
00:05as heavy rains and flooding left two more dead in the south on Tuesday, according to state media.
00:12CCTV reported that multiple areas in Hubei province experienced severe convective weather,
00:17meaning an abrupt rise in heat and moisture, adding that thunderstorms and strong winds swept through cities.
00:25275 people were injured just in Huanggang's Huangsi district as of Tuesday morning,
00:31while 408 residents were evacuated and rescue and relief efforts are still underway.
