More than two million pounds is set to be spent creating extra places at four Wolverhampton schools. The council says the work is needed to meet rising demand from families across the city.

00:16High School would gain 70. Bilston Church of England Primary School is set for 30 more
00:22places with 15 planned at St Matthias School. The council says more than £2 million will
00:28be invested. Most funding would support classroom changes and wider alterations at Morton and
00:35Aldersley. Officials say the work is intended to ensure children can secure places at local
00:41schools.
