00:18Pasir Putih Fire and Rescue Station Chief Azar Helmi Mustafar said the department received an emergency call at 6.34am
00:27and dispatched seven firefighters from the Pasir Putih station and six from the Kirtere station with two fire engines.
00:34Upon arrival, firefighters found the SUV had crashed into the surau after reportedly skidding.
00:42All six occupants of the vehicle were Indonesians.
00:45Two female passengers, aged in their 30s and 50s, who were seated at the rear,
00:50were trapped and pronounced dead at the scene after suffering severe head and body injuries.
00:55The four other occupants sustained injuries and were taken to Tengku Anis Hospital in Pasir Putih for treatment.
