00:10Gwamusang Police Chief Superintendent Sik Chun Foo said the 1 a.m. accident killed 25-year-old

00:17Mohamed Shami Farhan Adnan and his 26-year-old wife Nurul Shafiqa Anis Zulkifli.

00:24The 45-year-old trailer driver survived.

00:27The victim's children, a 5-year-old boy and a 10-month-old baby girl, were seriously injured

00:33and rushed to Gwamusang Hospital for treatment.

00:36During the incident, the car driven by Mohamed Shami was travelling from Kuala Krai to Gwamusang.

00:42As the car rounded a right-hand bend, it lost control, veered into the opposite lane and

00:47collided with the trailer.

00:49The impact caused the trailer to skid and overturn.

00:52Firefighters extricated the couple from the front seats and they were pronounced dead

00:56at the scene.
