00:00Eight men lost their lives in a collision between the car they were travelling in

00:06and a four-wheel-drive vehicle on Jalan Sarikeh, Cebu, on Thursday.

00:10The victims included seven Indonesians and one local man,

00:14while two individuals in the four-wheel-drive sustained minor injuries.

00:19According to a statement from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department,

00:23the Sarikeh fire station received a distress call at around 3.40 pm.

00:29Firefighters arrived at the scene approximately 20 minutes later

00:33and discovered that two victims had been ejected from the car upon impact.

00:38Medical officers from Hospital Sarikeh pronounced all eight car occupants dead at the scene.
