01:35Now, diving into the beauty because of course, like we said, today is a summer beauty breakdown.
01:42And so we are going to do just that.
01:44I have selected some of my favorite summer beauty products ever.
01:48And I'm going to give you guys a breakdown diving right in with makeup.
01:52How many of y'all have heard of say beauty?
01:56I love say beauty.
01:58It's a newer brand.
01:59Funny enough.
02:00Shout out to say beauty.
02:01They were the only beauty brand who were a sponsor of the NBA finals, a fantastic brand
02:07that is, in my opinion, one of the brands really doing it right for our skin tones and
02:12our skin types.
02:13So, one thing that I am absolutely loving right here is the safe slip tint.
02:19Y'all is hot out here.
02:21I have on a full face only because I am talking to y'all today.
02:24If I was just walking around in this heat, I would not have a full beat on.
02:29And this slip tint is absolutely perfect.
02:31So it is a skin tint, right?
02:33It has the perfect consistency and it comes in an array of shades.
02:37So if I'm not mistaken, I think it comes in about 10 shades.
02:42And you might be saying, well, Blake, is 10 shades enough?
02:44So the thing about a tint is it doesn't operate in the same way that a foundation does.
02:48So you don't have to have your exact shade for it to work and really melt into the skin.
02:53It really is just for that light coverage and easy glow, just something to kind of, you
02:57know, give you a little extra, maybe not make you look like you completely just rolled
03:02out of bed.
03:02You know, something just to wake the face up.
03:04I absolutely love this and I know you guys will too.
03:07And what I love about it is it's such an easy applicator.
03:10You pop it right off, pump it.
03:12So it's clean.
03:13It's a no mess application and it is so easy.

03:47Unfortunately, a Micole is a brand that is no longer with us.
03:50And when they were closing, I was like, what am I going to do?
03:54Cause I need a lip balm that is just as good, if not better.
03:59This is that it is no coincidence that it was also created by a black woman.

04:49Now, one thing about me is I feel like a proper summer face is a little skin tint, a little
04:56lip gloss, and a little mascara.
04:58That's all you need to look alive to look cute.
05:01Now, I have to tell you guys, so this Panorama mascara, I have to show you, from L'Oreal Paris.
05:07One thing about me is there are some things that I'm a snob with beauty-wise, but the things I
05:13will always go to a drugstore for, deodorant, because I need all that aluminum.
05:19Y'all, it's a little too hot.
05:20I hope everybody here got the aluminum on.
05:23And mascara, because I found that drugstore mascaras really are the best.
05:28They're the OGs.
05:29They never do us wrong.
05:30So I love this Panorama mascara because it is lengthening as well as thickening.
05:36So your lashes will look fuller, but they will also look longer.
05:40It is absolutely perfect.
05:42And the tube is very luxe.
05:44You know, I was telling somebody that this almost looks like a tube that, like, Lancome would come in, like
05:49our much more expensive luxury brands.
05:51It's fantastic.
05:52It feels like luxury.
05:53You will not even realize that you spent, I don't know the exact price, but I know that it's nice.

06:14Now, we had a request for body.
06:16So since I didn't forget about you, we're going into body now.
06:20So, I know that y'all saw Alandria on that one day with that glow and she was radiating.
06:28You can thank that glow to a Vaseline product.
06:33This is the sunlit glow.
06:35It comes in two different colors.
06:37This is the lightest shade.
06:38It comes in a darker shade if you want something a little bit more bronzy.
06:41And it is such a fantastic payoff.
06:43So this is how I apply it because I wear a lot of body oils and body shimmers.
06:48This is how I apply it so that it doesn't get too sticky or transfer.
06:54So I put it on.
06:55I let it dry.
06:57I let it dry for about five to ten minutes.
07:00After that, I lightly take a paper towel and just lightly dab it at the top and it takes
07:05off the excess so that I don't transfer throughout the day or transfer to my clothes.
07:10Because as much as we love the body glow, that can be a big issue with the transfer given
07:15the oil, given the shimmer.
07:17It can be a little difficult, but I promise this one is absolutely worth it.
07:22Now, speaking of body oils, Cyclar, it's a newer brand and it has come on the scene.
07:28And now, I'm surprised that we were even able to get this on the stage because Cyclar is
07:33always sold out, be it the deodorant, be it the body oil.
07:37So this one is Vanilla Berve.
07:39It is a vitamin C body oil.
07:41And we know for us black women, I don't know about y'all, but I scar.
07:45Have you guys heard on social media where they're like, she got the black girl knees?
07:50Like, it's a rite of passage that we have scars on our ankles, scars on our knees.
07:55We scar.
07:56It is just what happens, right?
07:58So this, the fact that not only is it a vitamin C oil, so it'll brighten some of those spots,
08:03but it also smells good and melts into the skin is even better.
08:07Again, this is Cyclar.
08:08I absolutely love it.
08:10They also have fantastic body washes as well as lotions that you can also find on Amazon.
08:16My personal favorite, my personal favorite scent that I am loving is the Neroli body wash.
08:22When I tell you it is a game changer and my, I love Neroli.
08:26I don't know what fragrances the girl is into, but I'm a Neroli girl.
08:30And when I tell you all that my shower smells brand new, it is as if I have been transported
08:36to a spa.
08:37And that's how I feel about all Cyclar products.
08:39And the thing about Cyclar, to everybody that raised their hand and said they were guilty of buying things just
08:44because the packaging was cute.
08:45This packaging is very cute.
08:48So it also helps.
08:49Now, going into body, continuing into body.

09:21And you find yourself needing 72 whole hours of odor protection.
09:25Well, this is that.
09:26So this can keep you smelling fresh for 72 hours.

09:35So imagine if it can keep you fresh for 72 hours.

09:44However, for my girls that do not like fragrance, Dove does also have unscented that you can also find on

09:51So all you'll do is type in Dove dry spray and just type in unscented and you'll be able to

09:59Now, this one, though, however, is one of my favorites.
10:01This is the cucumber fragrance.
10:02This is absolutely great.
10:04It's so great.
10:04It's so fresh.
10:05And like I said, it's so easy.
10:07I know some of the girls like a stick deodorant and I love that.
10:10But one thing I like about a spray is you can easily travel with it.
10:14And I find myself often in places where I'm with a girlfriend and she's like, oh, can I have some?
10:19And it's easy to share without feeling like, you know, without feeling like you're like, like you're commingling the products
10:26a little too much.
10:27And last but certainly not least, this Olay serum body wash has become a fixture of shower time.
10:35So I'm going to tell you guys, you know, what I love about all of these body care brands is
10:40that now they are realizing that we need to treat our bodies with the same level of care that we
10:44treat our skin.
10:45And Olay has done that with this serum body wash.
10:47It has niacinamide, BHAs, collagen peptides, vitamin E, and shea butter.
10:52So on top of it feeling of you feeling refreshed and clean, you will also feel hydrated.
10:58You said you're not seeing that one?
11:00Adriana, she said she's not seeing that one.
11:02We're going to make sure that that gets in there for you.
11:04So on top of that, all of this, you just feel so clean, so fresh, but you also feel hydrated.
11:10One thing about me personally, and this all depends on what you like from the shower.
11:15I like to feel clean, but I don't like my skin to feel strict.
11:18I don't like it to feel super dry.
11:20I don't like, you know, feeling like I have to like, like, you know, I already lotion myself the second
11:26I get off the shower, but I don't want to feel like I have to put on layers and layers
11:29of emollients.
11:30This is that cleansing that you need while also giving that first layer of moisturization that you also need as
11:38well.
11:38Now, we don't have too much time, so I'm going to keep going into skin, and then we are going
11:43to quickly pivot into hair, and then I am going to leave you all to the next fabulous panel.

12:12So, this is the MetaCube Zero Pore Pad.
12:15It has AHAs, BHAs.
12:17And what I love about this is, especially during the summer, where our pores expand because of the heat, this
12:25is absolutely perfect.
12:27It minimizes the appearance of pores.
12:29It properly exfoliates the skin, but lightly.
12:32So, again, if you have sensitive skin, how I would suggest using that is try it once, once a week.
12:38Then maybe inch up to three times a week if your body, if your face can support it.
12:43And then you can go up to five to seven days a week, depending on how your skin tolerates it.
12:48They're so easy.
12:48They come in this really cute vessel.
12:50They come with a little tongue, a little skin care tongue, if you will.
12:56So, you just go in, you take one out, and you use it as necessary, and you toss it.
13:03So, it's no mess, no fuss, while still making sure that your skin is great.
13:07And then, if you're wondering, well, Blake, what do I do with the tongue after?
13:10It literally has a holder.
13:11So, you pop it right in that holder, and it'll stay right there.
13:15So, you don't have to worry about it getting messy or anything like that.
13:18Now, I'm a millennial.
13:21I know Gen Z likes people to see the pimple patches on their face, but me, I prefer something a
13:27little bit more invisible.
13:29So, I love these mighty patches, particularly the invisible formula, because you literally just take a patch out.
13:35Actually, they have one out for me.
13:37You take these patches, and I'm going to show you guys just how clear they go on.
13:42So, again, you take this patch, you put it on your pimple, and it goes on so clear.
13:50I don't know if y'all, is this being, yes, okay.
13:53I don't know if they can zoom in on my hand.
13:54It goes on so clear.
13:57So, again, if you guys want to fight pimples and fight acne without having to worry, but you don't want
14:03to necessarily put yellow stars on your face.
14:05No offense to those that love a yellow star or a heart, but if you don't want something, you know,
14:11so visible, this is an absolutely perfect alternative.
14:14Now, going into this, this is the UV screen.
14:20We asked the question earlier, who has skipped the sunscreen?
14:23I implore you all not to do that anymore.
14:26This I absolutely love, which is the Kiehl's Better Screen UV Serum.
14:30So, it's a sunscreen serum, and because I know y'all are going to ask, because as a black girl,
14:34my first question for any sunscreen is, is it going to have a white cast?
14:37So, one thing I can tell you guys, you put it right here, you rub it into the skin, and
14:43it disappears right into the skin.
14:45So, you do not have to worry about the white cast.
14:48And y'all saw, I put a generous amount.
14:50Y'all are free to come and try it.
14:51You throw it right on.
14:52It is so easy.
14:54And Kiehl's, who's a Kiehl's fan in here?
