00:00Hi, Jack. Hi, Trinity. I'm Lucrezia. I come from Rome. Nice to meet you.
00:04Nice to meet you.
00:07How are you?
00:08We're great.
00:09Yeah, I'm doing good.
00:10Yeah, how are you?
00:12Fine, thanks.
00:14Avatar, the way of water, makes us realize that we need to protect the environment.
00:21Young people fight for the environment.
00:24Young people seem to be more responsible than adults.
00:31In your opinion, will the climate crisis push us toward sustainability?
00:38I hope so.
00:40I think so.
00:41I hope, I mean, I really think that our planet is dying.
00:46And I think it's honestly really sad to see, like every year, multiple species of animals go extinct.
00:53Or are counting down.
00:54Or are counting down.
00:55And it's just really sad.
00:57And I think us as humans need to just, you know, get our shit together and actually help save our
01:03planet.
01:04You know, because I think it's pretty important to have somewhere to live.
01:09Yeah.
01:09Yeah.
01:10And that's one of the most, like, things that, one of the things that we learned on the set of
01:14Avatar.
01:16Because our set is so environmentally friendly.
01:18And I think we just learned so many ways we can do better and to protect our Earth.
01:23And not only from the set, from the not-ve.
01:26I think the not-ve.
01:28And just all life on Pandora is so connected.
01:31And there's this harmony and connection to all life and nature on Pandora that I really hope we can bring
01:37into our Earth one day.
01:38Because just like Jake and Nateri protecting their planet, we need to protect our beautiful blue planet.
01:44And not only protect but nurture our environment, so.
01:50For sure.
01:51How it was the training on the water during the shoot?
01:56Lots of training.
01:58Lots of training.
01:59Lots of water.
02:00Yeah.
02:00It's the way of water.
02:01A lot of holding your breath.
02:03A lot of, um, did you do scuba?
02:04I don't know.
02:05Uh, I think at the time it was mostly free diving for me.
02:09Or snorkel.
02:10Yeah.
02:10Mostly free diving.
02:11In the beginning it was also free diving for me.
02:12But then, since I did another two years in New Zealand, I had to learn how to do the full
02:16face mask scuba thing.
02:18And, um, yeah, just a lot of being underwater for us and being comfortable being underwater for long periods of
02:24time.
02:24Yeah.
02:24And, um, being okay with getting pruny hands.
02:28Coming out like a reason.
02:29Yeah.
02:30Um, but, yeah, we had the funnest days in the tank.
02:33And this tank is so cool because it creates water simulations.
02:37Yeah.
02:37And, uh, it can change depth.
02:40What's that?
02:40Is it like metal?
02:41It just crashes and creates a wave?
02:43Like ocean?
02:44It's just like a giant metal half-cylinder thing that would slam and then just create.
02:48And there's different settings.
02:50It could do like a light slam to create some nice ripples.
02:52Or it could do giant slam and create waves.
02:56Yeah.
02:56Storm level conditions.
02:59Yeah.
02:59Avatar 2 remind us not to, uh, underestimate the power of family.
03:07What do you think about it?
03:10I think definitely, I think if there's one thing people should walk away from seeing Avatar
03:15is just, um, how important family is.
03:18Whether it be your family you're born into or the family you're, you make along the way.
03:23So I think family is really important because it's the one group of people you can always
03:28rely on and fall back on.
03:29And say, I see you too.
03:31Yeah.
03:32Um, yeah, I totally agree with that.
03:35And that's another thing that we learned through making this and watching the film.
03:40Family is our fortress.
03:42Hell yeah.
03:43Hell yeah.
03:45What does Avatar 2, uh, represent to you?
03:52Um, for me, Avatar, The Way of Water is always going to be special to me because of its story
04:00and its heart.
04:01And of course, the thrilling action and the spectacle makes it very exciting to watch.
04:05but, uh, yeah, it's, I think it's a movie for everyone.
04:09Yeah.
04:09Um, if you're a sci-fi person, action, if you're in for the spectacle, if you love a tearjerker,
04:16oh my gosh, this one's for you.
04:18And if you love a story with just unforgettable characters and going to this new planet, um,
04:25that is beautiful and also a lot like our Earth, um, you'll love it.
04:30Yeah.
04:30Yeah.
04:30It's mind-blowing.
04:32I think, I feel like Avatar, The Way of Water for me represents years of, of, of, of hard
04:38work and working on something with a lot of people that I love and care about.
04:42And man, it's just, the, every, the, the movie represents like my childhood to me.
04:48So it really, I don't know, it just, it feel, it, it'll always hold a special place in
04:52my heart because I put so much effort into it and so did everyone else.
04:57Yeah.
04:58Jacket Trinity, thank you for your time.
05:00It was a pleasure talking to you.
05:02Thank you.
05:04Thank you.
