00:00Congratura per il film.
00:01Grazie.
00:01So, can you say something regarding James on the set,
00:04some curiosities or something that are unique about James on the set,
00:10like visionary director and like person, of course?
00:14I think something interesting about Jim is his bravery.
00:18In order to make a film like the Avatar Saga,
00:21in order to make films like that, you really have to be brave.
00:24Think of, we always see the yeses of people's success,
00:27but we don't see how many noes they got before that yes.
00:31And that's the most exciting thing to see with Jim,
00:34is that he's had a career for so many decades
00:36and was able to be revolutionary,
00:38but it was only because he didn't let a no stop him.
00:41He's really brave.
00:43I love all the moments of working with Jim
00:45and spending time with him on set.
00:47I love the moments where I get to, you know, talk with him
00:50and just have our small talk or fun talk.
00:54and when he makes me laugh with his dry humor.
00:57But I also love just getting to work with him as an actor
01:00because it's the most like collaborative,
01:03playground, creative, fun experience.
01:06I think just, I love his mentality of building the character
01:10together with the actor.
01:11And that part was always just so much fun to me
01:14because it really taught me like the fun of improv
01:16and just living in the moment for every single take of every scene.
01:20I loved that part and just, he really fascinates me as a person.
01:25The way he inspires us to just never give up
01:28and keep going and trust in your creative vision and voice.
01:31He's an inspiring guy.
01:32That's for sure.
01:34Can you say?
01:34Oh, um, I don't know.
01:36I have so many different like little stories,
01:39but I just remember I was always so,
01:41I, you know, 12 to 16, I was with him
01:44and I would have so many like conversations,
01:47whether it was about history or sci-fi.
01:48and I just remember one time we went back and forth.
01:51Like it was just like this, like cosmic questions of like,
01:54okay, if there's like,
01:56like he would just genuinely sit with me for like an hour
01:58or 45 minutes and just talk to me of like,
02:00if there's infinite dimensions,
02:02then there's a dimension where the Terminator is real,
02:04but then there's a dimension where the Terminator is real
02:06and can go to other dimensions,
02:08which means that the Terminator is on his way right now.
02:10And we would literally just have these back and forth,
02:12like, like conversations.
02:14And he was just, I guess all that to say,
02:16he was so kind and would be willing to talk about like anything.
02:21And, you know, he's fun to talk to you
02:23because he's like insanely intelligent and smart
02:25and knows so much.
02:26And yeah, I just love Jim.
02:29He's, he's such a, such a fun dude.
02:31Do you remember the first time when you saw the first Avatar
02:34and then now thinking that you are in,
02:37in this legendary saga that remains in the history?
02:41How do you feel?
02:43Oh, excited.
02:45I mean, as you were saying that,
02:47I was literally picturing me watching it for the first time
02:50or like my earliest memory of it.
02:52And I remember like immediately thinking,
02:55man, they have to make a sequel to this
02:56because it's so awesome.
02:57And then just to see like the poster behind you
03:00and like to think I'm a part of that is,
03:02uh, I mean, it really, I don't know.
03:05It just, it just makes me really happy.
03:07Like I, I'm just grateful and happy and excited.
03:11You say something like happiness.
03:13The first time I watched it
03:14was right when I received the audition,
03:16like the night that I received it.
03:18And I just wanted to jump into it, see the movie.
03:20And I did not know what I was in for.
03:22I just even watching it on my living room TV at home.
03:27I felt everything.
03:30It was so visceral and I was immersed
03:32and I looked up from the screen
03:34when the credits started to roll and just thought,
03:36oh my gosh, I'm actually here in my living room
03:38and not, and not beyond Pandora.
03:40Cause I just felt so in it with them.
03:42And I immediately just felt so eager at the idea,
03:45even the small idea,
03:47like the small chance of being a part of something so cool,
03:51a story so, so fun and deep
03:56and characters that intrigue me and make me think.
03:59And also that I just, I would have fun with.
04:02And I just felt immediately inspired.
04:05And to think that now we're here,
04:06literally in, in Milan, in Italy,
04:10and, and get to talk about our experience
04:13we had filming these films.
04:16And, and, and to think that there's even a chance
04:18this saga could continue for four and five.
04:21I just feel immensely grateful to have been a part
04:23of this Avatar family and that fans will get to see it soon.
04:27Can you share?
04:28I didn't see the film until I was in my auditioning process.
04:31So I was 13 and I kept getting callbacks
04:36and I was so confused.
04:36I was like, why, what is going on?
04:39I'm not doing well.
04:40And then we're in LA and John Landau,
04:43the producer of Avatar from Iron Ash,
04:45who since passed, but has been this very big part
04:48or a big heartbeat of these films.
04:51He played the film for a lot of the kids then
04:55were, that were auditioning.
04:57And I made sure to pay attention to Neytiri
04:59because I had a feeling my character was very similar to her.
05:02And I ended up being very nervous,
05:04very proud of myself for doing that.
05:06but it was, I could not believe it.
05:07Cause my mom was like, this is Avatar.
05:10This is a big deal.
05:10But I was like, I don't know what's going on.
05:13And it's just, it's so beautiful.
05:16And there's no, you can't compare it to anything else.
05:19And there's, there's no, there's not that many films
05:22that you can say that about.
05:23So to be a part of something as legendary as Avatar
05:28is, is truly an honor and something that's going to stick
05:31with me for the rest of my life.
05:33So thank you so much and Merry Christmas.
05:35Thank you.
05:35Happy holidays.
05:36Merry Christmas.
05:36Thank you.
05:37Happy holidays.
