A soldier who was put up for adoption as a child shared a pair of emotional reunion hugs with his biological parents after his wife tracked them down while he was in bootcamp. Edward Chambers, 24, from Tullahoma, Tennessee, had not connected with his biological mom and dad for around two decades, having been put up for adoption when he was four years old. At the time, Allison said, Edward's parents were separated, and though his aunt and uncle fought to gain custody of him, they could not do so because they lived in a different state. Edward's biological father, also called Edward, was not notified of the adoption proceedings, either, as he also lived in a separate state and wasn't married to Edward's mom, Evita. After Edward was adopted, his biological family lost touch, and he grew up not knowing them. This provided a sense of emptiness, Edward said, and so while he was away at bootcamp, Allison began carrying out some research. It took six months in total, but she was eventually able to track down Edward and Evita. On two separate occasions, on June 7 and June 14, Edward then travelled to meet each of his biological parents, which Allison captured on video as he shared hugs he had waited around 20 years for.
