00:00so do you feel like you've lost any of the the boston element of barstool yeah and its roots
00:05a hundred percent yeah it you know i we used to just live here i was telling a story the
00:12other
00:12day like when i started you know we blog all day the red sox play i'm sitting with my phone
00:18taking pictures at the screen of what heidi watney is wearing every day and like here let's
00:23remember at 7th inning they put her out in the stands and she would eat things yeah and it was
00:27like appointment viewing yeah heidi watney then it was jenny dell and we're taking pictures in the
00:31crowd and i get drink water sprinting out of the stadium like i i was watching everything and
00:37blogging it real every night and at that time nobody was doing that that was a totally unique new way
00:42to
00:43like cover and like pizza gate with remy when all that all that stuff was brand new for the internet
00:48but we're living breathing eating sleeping i've told the story i i went like we had elevated but i had
00:55floor seats for like the celtics and i saw a scalper out in front selling the tickets who remembered me
01:01from when i was handing out the the newspapers myself i would be with them every day like yelling
01:05at people to take the newspaper and i got to know all the scalpers who were out front he's like
01:09happy
01:10for your success dave but you know so it's hard to keep that boston feel as local when we centralize
01:18and we're all over the place and even you're not getting the local like sports coverage and you know i
01:23got
01:23older i'm 50 in the end of the book i actually say it's scary but i'm nearing 50 and 49
