00:09Go right in here in the sitting room.
00:12You'll find cigarettes on the table.
00:14Thank you.
00:16Better put your shoes on.
00:25Hey!
00:26You guys, be quiet!
00:27There are doctors in the house.
00:30Hey, what have you got?
00:31I don't know. Maybe it's kittens.
00:35Well, what's the verdict?
00:36Dr. Steele will talk to you.
00:40Well, good-bye.
00:40Good-bye, Mr. Harris.

00:45All right.
00:46Good-bye.
00:57Would you like a drink?
01:00No, thanks.
01:02Well...
01:04The prisoner will rise.
01:06The sentence.
01:08We've got to operate.
01:10Operate?
01:12On me?
01:15Where?
01:18No.
01:20No.
01:20Well, after all, the brain's like any other part of the body.
01:23Things get out of kilter.
01:24Have to be adjusted.
01:25Oh, no, I won't.
01:28Anne.
01:30Anne!
01:31What's the matter?
01:31Come here.
01:33Quickly.
01:35Tell her.
01:37He wants to operate.
01:38Operate?
01:39Yes, on my head.
01:40Oh, no, you've made a mistake.
01:42I knew almost at once.
01:44I just wanted confirmation, that's all.
01:46What's she got?
01:47Yes, what have I got?
01:48Technically, it's called glioma.
01:50Glioma?
01:51Oh, don't listen to him.
01:52It sounds like a kind of a plant.
01:54Yes.
01:55It is rather like a plant.
01:57A parasitic one.
01:59If it's taken care of, what...
02:00All surgeons are alike, Judy.
02:02Don't be upset, darling.
02:03We can call in other doctors.
02:04We wait.
02:05Hmm?
02:06Yes, yes, of course.
02:07But you have to face it sooner or later.
02:11Suppose we just don't talk about it anymore.
02:27What?
02:29Another headache, Miss Judith?
02:30No, not another headache.
02:33Yes, a big headache.
02:35And I want a bottle of champagne for it.
